I don’t know what to think. The Rawlings presentation is in 2 1/2 days and I’ve been sitting at a G5 for over 3 weeks. Good sign, bad sign?? I don’t know. All I know is that I have a boat load of confidence in this idea. Anyone ever been in this same situation before? If so, what type of news was sprung on you?

Best of luck to you Coach! I have a question though, I’m new to EN. How do you know when it’s presentation day? Sorry if this is a goofy question! |

Dave, Congratulations on the G7. Below is something I have posted for new Inventors to hopefully give them a good perspective. PERSISTENCE, PATIENCE AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE Persistence- Dictionary.com defines persistence as “the act or fact of persisting.” I would expand on that definition to add “A controlled steady movement towards a goal”. Many Inventors tend to be overly pushy and demanding wanting answers immediately from the company they are trying to get interested in their product idea. There is a fine line between Persistence and being a Pest. Once that line is crossed your chances of success are lost. Patience-If you don’t have it, you better start learning it. Inventing is a love/hate relationship. You love your idea and want the world to buy it, but you hate the time it takes to get it to market. No matter how much control you think you have over your project there are always obstacles you can’t control. So, unless you are the sole person doing every aspect of the design, gathering materials, manufacturing, shipping, sales, marketing, product placement and own a chain of stores to sell it, you will be waiting on someone. Positive Attitude- The final P is Positive Attitude. Without it the first two mean nothing. Your attitude can make or break your success. Whether it is a meeting with potential investors, a presentation of your idea to a company or speaking with a consumer about your product your attitude is key to your success. Remember- “Dreams are accomplished by people who do, not by people who wish”. |

I can hardly imagine the amount of work Scott Dromms has had to do in the past few days to put EN’s best foot forward during these many presentations! |

Coach if your dashboard still shows green you are still alive. Although it is presentation day we do not know what time the presentation is, nor do we know when the final selections were or will be made. From my experience E.N. has so many great ideas it will often come down to the wire, they have some tough decisions to make. Then factor in a delay from the decision making process to its reflection on our dashboards. I am sure they will be updated soon. Best of luck to everyone. |

Well….It’s presentation day and my dashboard still shows G5. I would like to think that it means I am still alive. Therefore, if I’m still alive on the day of presentation, would I be wrong for assuming that my idea is being presented? It would really suck if two days from now I receive a G7. Sorry…just trying to make sense of it all:) |
