All that she knows is that she has to ring them up and take money in exchange for them. Robert, if you know me from this site, then you know I really don’t use that ‘I’ word. But today I tried it at Walgreens cuz Eggies was on the shelf! I was so excited that I had to buy a couple boxes. When I got to the check-out I blurted out to the cashier—-hey guess what? I invented these!’ She looked at me like, who cares, and then called for the next person in line. :-( lol.

Ralph—I was so excited that Eggies was with the Monkees. I loved them as a little girl. Davey’s still the cute one! :-)

AWESOME! I missed recording it, but will go check it out online now. That is so cool And on the View with the Monkees? Holy time warp, Batman! Brings back some memories for sure! Considering I watched that show when it was first out… ouch, getting old!

Monkees trivia: David Bowies real name was David Jones. He changed it to David Bowie so fans wouldn’t get him mixed up for Davey Jones of the ‘Monkees’. Smart move on his part and smarter move BY THE VIEW! Well done! : )

Love your product Betsy Eggies, it actually inspired me to create a food product that I submitted today, hopefully it will have the same success as your eggies!!!

I am applying for a copywrite on T-shirts with an Eggies pic and the slogan “I’m An Official Eggies Head”. The Eggies movement reminds me of the phenomenal Pet Rock and Lava Lamps. I will take beer in lou of money. One 18 pack for one T-shirt. Place orders on this thread please.

Betsy. It looks like we stumbled upon Edison Nation in similar fashion. In the fall of 2009, I was doing research on companies that accepted product ideas from independent inventors. I was on Bed Bath & Beyonds website when I happened upon a link for their Students of Innovation product search. I clicked on in and that took me to EN! Small world!

Yea, you’re right—-he definitely is the Simon Cowell of the bunch! I’ve often laughed that I couldn’t have even made it thru the audition process on Shark Tank. No prototype, no drawing, no product….just an idea.

They would have called SECURITY and had me thrown out. Fast forward 14 months later, and because of EN it’s on The View being shown by Kevin Harrington. Wild, wild, wild!

No kidding Rainer, if I can do it—-anyone can. I had NEVER been on an Invention site in my life before I submitted Eggies! I never even had a prototype. And I only found these EN forums by accident many months later! Now, I’m hooked. This community is incredible! I’m also hooked now on Shark Tank, and to have Kevin Harrington of all people show Eggies on The View…I felt I had died and gone to heaven!

I happen to be watching the View that day and thought to myself..kool idea that eggie thing .

The thing is I wasn’t even a member here (Joined yesterday) yet. Every so often I would surf another inventor
forum but never this one. So the other day while surfing the other forum I found the link for this forum and lo and behold
Betsy is a member here and the inventor of Eggies that I just watched on the view the other day..LOL

I said to myself if Betsy can do it so can I and decided no more dilly dallying and joined EN and now ordering
supplies to make my first prototype !

Robert it is getting really difficult to sleep with all this stuff going on. Tonight I met Eric and Carol in SD and as they were starting to yawn——I was just wide awake and talkin’ their ears off!

You know the funny thing about the show….I was sooooo excited about seeing Eggies, I didn’t even see the Monkees perform! Ha, ha, I will have to watch the clip and catch them. That was really a remarkable experience having Kevin Harrington show Eggies. I still have to figure out how Eggies got on The View!

Betsy!!! That was quite a show Friday. Kevin H did an amazing job talking about eggies as well as demonstrating eggies. This truly is one of those products that you say to yourself why didn’t I think of that??? Genius, Pure Genius!!!

The Monkeys:
I lived in a neighborhood where there were around 15 of us kids playing on the block. Every night during the summer we would play tag, jump roofs or just hang out. But when 8:00pm came around and The Monkeys were on we would all scramble home to watch The Monkeys on TV. Loved seeing them again and listening to their music as it brought back so many great memories. Also loved seeing the picture they flashed of Davy and Maureen. (Not a ounce of jealousy) :)
