There are really nice blogs of inventors who visit, get the tour, meet the staff and get their pics posted on the site. Sounds like a field trip I would love to take.

Robert, you’ve been here a month now, what do you think so far? I hope EN feels like home to you now. Have you joined any other discussions, added friends to your page and what is your take on the submission opportunities? For me, I am amazed at the wide range of companies which emphasize the technical/mechanical like the new Fisher Price to the creative like Robeez’ make a better baby shoe. I love the range of challenges here which truly pushes you to think outside the box.

Hey all. I too am new here and I think I will be pretty happy hear. I was playing around onn Quirky, which is still fun, but from spending a couple hours reading in the forums, I believe this is where I will be submitting my ideas. The peolple here seem to be more dedicated and positive, I am not only talking about the staff, but the members as well. I look forward to more hours here. Not to mention I live 20 minutes away from their office.

Bob… when you click on member’s avatar, their profile will come up… just below their photo is a button labeled
“Add To Friends”… click it and a friend request is emailed…. when they get the email and decide to accept your request,
then you have a friend.

Hello Bob, nice to see you join! Im new as well. I have put a couple of ideas in and am still waiting to hear how i have done. I put my ideas in about 1.5 months ago.. One of my ideas I have been working with for years at EN it seems to go a lot faster…
