I don’t know anything about this program but thought it might be of interest here.

I enjoyed it. Better than watching cartoons all day. |

Yeah Greg it looks like an inferior twist on Shark Tank or Dragons Den with the hosts personalities as fluff. It’s not very believable that sophisticated investors as these guys portray themselves to be would travel to a presentation by a pyromaniac Yeti hunter. |

Thanks for the heads up on the show; managed to catch it on the DVR. Only caught the first half of the first episode, and it is sure tugging the rope hard on the side of the kooky inventor. |

Betsy, BTW, I would love to be a part of an EN get together in that big state of Texas some day…wouldn’t that be fun! |

Oh my gosh, I love the last one. I hope the band has bought some too. I thought you could add Eggies to the Wikipedia. I don’t think it can only be one thing…it sounds like you’ve got plenty of advertisement anyway though. Too funny all those uses. |

Steph, that’s a cute idea. BUT, my feeling is the people in Hong Kong have had their dessert dish called Eggies loooooong before our Eggies. Funny thing—-when EN told me the name of my product was going to be Eggies, I Googled it too and found the Hong Kong dish. I ALSO found, that there’s a restaurant in Sacramento, California named Eggies, there’s a video game called Eggies where the players scream out to each other, ‘No Eggies, No Beggies.’ And last, but not least, there’s a rock group named ‘Soft Boiled Eggies’. The good thing about my Eggies is that they’re listed on Google now in ads for zillions of pages. It’s been fun learning about all the Eggies in the world. Oh, one more thing….there are also lots of posts by women who are going for IVF treatment, who post to their pals, ‘Wish me luck on my Eggies tomorrow!’ :-) |

Betsy, My husband bought me the Eggies and their fun. I happened to look them up on Google and found the Wikipedia page for Eggies and found a whole different thing. It’s a snack food in Hong Kong. I’ve never updated a Wikipedia, but you might want to try and add your product on there. I just think some people might hear the word Eggies and search it like me. Just a thought. |

;-) Hi Michael! Did you see your Eggies dessert recipe on the Eggies FB page? It’s even featured on the top part of the page. You are so AWESOME!! Wish you lived in Texas! Then we could all get together. I really hope one day we all meet! It would be so much fun!! |

Hi, I’m calling you in a minute…cuz I hate typing in the forums with my iPhone. No, it’s not the same series. The 8 parter has to do with EE/EN products already on the market. |

I do believe EE put together an 8 part syndicated version of the show that is airing on regular commercial stations all around the country. The reason I know is because one of the 1/2 hour shows was about Eggies and me. I think Fleta posted one day that she saw it. So maybe EE is testing the waters and the response vs cost. |

Yeah the growth of E.N. is a good point. They are doing a great job juggling a lot of balls. |

History Channel/PBS comparison could be a little bit of Apples to Oranges. That said, imagine how much EN has grown since EEs last season. |

Admittedly I know very little about how television syndication works so bare with my ignorance if this is a stupid thought. My thought is that E.E. is a much more entertaining format than this show and yet PBS (as well respected as it is to many) isn’t near the audience this show musters on The History Channel. Is E.E. seeking a wider audience? It seems like a missed profit center opportunity as well as underutilized product launch/awareness vehicle, with all due respect to PBS. Please don’t misunderstand this as an attack on PBS. |
