Not sure if any of you are familiar with The Big Idea, but they offer hunts from time to time that are free to enter and allow you to use your creative skills and possibly win prizes. Here’s the email I recieved from them:

Naming Hunt

To BIG Inventors:

We’re running a Name Hunt for eight new pet products. We’d like your name suggestions for these innovative products. Best names will be appealing, memorable, unique, and capture what the tool does. Multiple suggestions are welcome.

We will be offering a total of 8 merchandise prizes in the Pet Product Name Hunt—one prize for each concept. The winners will receive their choice of a Magaritaville “Key West” Frozen Concoction Maker, or a FoodSaver Vacuum Sealing System, each with a retail value of at least $299. You can win more than one prize if you come up with the best suggestions for different concepts.

You must email or fax your name suggestions by no later than 2PM (eastern time) on Tues., Oct. 6.
