I wonder as I’m guessing many do if there’s any connection between when we are born and the level of creativity we posess. I don’t think this topic will spawn much controversy so how about a survey. They say Aquarians are more creative than other signs so let’s hear from you inventors and find out if there’s any truth to that myth. Me, I’m an Aquarius February 16

I have heard that more politicians and actors, etc. are born in the year of Aquarius but not sure that everything I read is true. :>)

I am a Capricorn born on the cusp of Sagitarrius.

I really hope so and hope it all has something to do with the amount of radiation from the sun we were receiving during conception and incubation then I could speculate it’s all sciencey! :)

William, were your parents big on outdoor conception?

So much for the “theory of creativity” and me being another Einstein! Looks like creative people are born under different signs.

Hahaha! Bruce :) well yea kinda, my mom was a hippy chick n my dad was in the military stationed in Alaska, so I was born on Elmundorf air force base, but they did do a lot of camping (if u no what I mean) Lol. And weirdly, interestingly enough I was born on march 14, which to math nerds is pie 3.14 Then even weirder it’s actually Einstein’s birthday too. Do u believe in reincarnation? Hahaha :)….. Pisces.

William, depending on which chart you use, you COULD be on the cusp which is Aries. Fish – going in two directions at the same time – which can really be to an inventor’s advantage, I would think.

Is anyone interested in sign for the YEAR they were born – like the Chinese / Vietnamese calendar? I was born in the year of the Cat which is also called Rabbit – depending on which calendar one uses.

William, if mean BORN in the year 1975, it was the year of the Rabbit (Cat). If you are interested, there is a great, fun book entitled “Chinese Chance”.

Scorpio here
When we went on our cross country road trip, one of our first stops was at Carlsbad caverns. In one cave tour, the tour guide wanted us to turn off our lanterns. There was a group of about 25 so instead of us turning them off all at one time, he did it by birth months. I was amazed that it was equally divided, about 2 per month.

Sometimes, if you are on the custp, it is nice to know because it CAN explain some things. Scorpios are known to be governed by their genitals and those who are under the Sagittarius sign are known for being party people. Gee, as I write that, I can see that it might be a dangerous combination.. ;>)

Then you are on the cusp of Libra – the scales, making things fair. If you were a man, with your Scorpion weakness, I could see you making sure you had ‘gotten to’ ALL the women. (made that sexist remark because, I think, it is more believable…) :-)

maybe that’s why i cant seem to quit that global warming thread, i don’t believe I’m being argumentative, i just believe everyone needs their say without someone being unfair. It doesn’t help that I’m the middle child too and a negotiator who likes to keep the peace. My husband is Taurus and a middle child also. After 30 years of marriage we have never raised our voices at each other and if we get in a disagreement, we retreat to our corners to think it out. Its worked well.

Aries, April 5th 1957. So Julie am I on the cusp of anythiing or just need medication and adult supervision?
One thing that I like is I have always been fasinated by anything related to space and the sci-fi shows. Yes, I am a trekkie, but I don’t carry a phaser, but I will start if you can find me one that really works. If aliens landed in a spaceship my first words to them would not be “Take me to your leader” They would be “Can I drive it?”

I found these items listed on this website http://www.datesinhistory.com/ which may explain my fasination with space. I love most music and mine also had a long list of composers on the list. So who knows. : )

1804 The first recorded meteorite falls in Possil, Scotland (High Possil Meteorite).
1806 Isaac Quintard patents apple cider
1853 A De Gasparis discovers asteroid #24 Themis
1853 Asteroid 24, Themis discovered
1853 DeGasparis discovers his 7th asteroid, Themis (24)
1907 A Kopff discovers asteroid #632 Pyrrha
1913 S Belyavskij and G Neujmin discovers asteroid #749 Malzovia
1957 Russia sends Sputnik into orbit
1967 ATS II launched but fails to reach orbit
1973 Pioneer 11 launched to Jupiter
1975 Soyuz 18A launch aborted short of orbit; cosmonauts return safely
1984 A Mrkos discovers asteroid #3364
1991 Space Shuttle STS 37 (Atlantis 8) launched
1997 Galileo, 3rd Ganymede Flyby (Orbit 7)
And finally my personal favorite:
2063 Earth’s 1st contact by extra-terrestrials (Vulcan); according to Star Trek

If you are referring to the birthdate website, mine wasn’t pretty either – a LOT of wars and earthquakes BUT the good news was:
1822 Louis Pasteur chemist, scientist: developed pasteurization process, rabies vaccination; was born
1871 World’s first cat show (Crystal Palace, London) MAYBE THAT’S WHY I’M BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE CAT (RABBIT)
1932 Radio City Music Hall opens (New York NY) SAW ROCKETTES IN 1954 AND VOWED TO BECOME ONE OF THEM – DIDN’T HAPPEN
1900 Carrie Nation’s first public smashing of a bar (Carey Hotel, Wichita KS) WELL, THIS PROVES THAT I’M CERTAINLY NOT THE REINCARNATED CARRIE.

Julie, I agree it is my personality (?? disorder) One of my many new Years resolutions is to be more open minded (Darn that is hard). Did you ever try out to be a Rockette Julie?…I bet you were smokin’ hot in your day, since you look like a very pretty lady now. Well if this is any consolation, you are now a part of the Edisonettes!

Roger – Sorry – got so excited about that link that I forgot: the year of the Rooster.

Peggy, I was 14 when I saw the Rockettes in NYC (on an overnight bus trip from school in RI) and the next time I saw my 6’ tall Swedish grandmother, I was so excited to tell her that I was going to be a Rockette! (I now have a 33" inseam so it was probably pretty close to that when I was 14) My grandmother equated THOSE women with loose women and no grandchild of hers would do that! So ended my career as a dancer. Guess its a good thing because the weak spot of a Capricorn are their knees and that is so very true. Thanks for the compliments – at 70, I am happy to be considered an Edisonette!

Bruce- I’m an Aries but also left handed, can we throw that into the mix? Roger, not quite a Trekkie but loved the TV series. The Phaser had the ability to beam you if I remember correctly , if that’s the case Roger I’m ready to be beamed up with you if you wanted some company and if Scottie could find the power without losing us along the way.Roger one last thought,I don’t know about you but as a kid I always wanted to be James T. Kirk not because he was the captain but because he always had a woman on every planet, like a sailor had a women in every port. How delightful and delicious! But I digress, lol.
