It’s not as exciting as waiting for that G7 to turn into a G8, but I have to admit it’s been a lot less stressful. It doesn’t hurt to explore new uses for them too. Thanks again for all your support!

Just got my ID. Great job Jim! Love the colors! Can I use them when I shower too? Maybe they’ll keep my highlights fresh longer? Ha,ha…Anyway love that they fit so easily over bowls and containers!

Richard, we used the plasticized, shower-cap type covers in our home for years too. My wife asked me to order some more on the Internet because we couldn’t find them in stores. While searching on-line, I noticed other food bags and containers that claimed to absorb ethylene gas and retard the spoiling process of fruits and vegetables. It stems from a type of clay (oya) found in Japanese caves that have been known for centuries to mysteriously keep fruits and vegetables fresher longer. So I thought it would be neat if I could buy the plastic bowl covers with the ethylene gas-absorbing compound added to them. To my surprise, they did not exist! I did a quick patent search and decided to move forward with the idea, and within two weeks I had a set of prototypes in my hand. A couple months later they were introduced at the Chicago Housewares Show (2010). Since then it’s been full speed ahead!

Jim, my wife has been using these covers off and on for years. I’m assuming that they are the same ones, they look exactly the same.
