Anant, Welcome to EN …. Yes you are right we All are impressed with EN and arrived here each with our own special story in hand, and a dream in our heart. You will find your way through it all .. My advice is just create, design, lay it out and present it the best you can … You will learn as you go …. enjoy the journey and place less emphasis on the green at the end. It will all come full circle for you.

But You are absolutely right, if it weren’t for the diversified searches where would anyone of us be… It is much easier when you are given specifics ..

You know what I really like about EN now. I came up with 5 points which I like about EN, and 1 points which I don’t like, and the community here, convinced me that EN is good at that one.
That means that the community is real impressed with EN, and they really believe in EN. That’s is a very nice thing.

Anant I am not sure the $2500 works quite that directly…just by getting a G8. There has to be considerably more testing, discussion by partner requesting the search with their own experts, etc before the g8 becomes $2500 in your hand…as far as I understand. I just can’t wait to be concerned about that problem though, haha.

I’m sure that topic has been bantered around a bit somewhere here. Try the green search button or read the agreement in the beginning to be certain.

Anant, we all want things when we want them, of course, but I don’t think EN is any slower than going it on your own, and it may even be faster. I don’t know for sure, but I think EN’s quest for a 45-day wait is short. I’ve had to wait months for answers from companies when I did it on my own, through an agent. But while I waited then, I just twiddled my thumbs and listened to crickets. Here, at EN, I have people in the same boat, making me laugh, or firing me up, or inspiring me, etc, while having a wealth of forums topics to peruse. EN is a great complement to Life. You’ll be surprised to see how many ideas you get, in areas you never before considered, in this community. EN-joy is right.

So when you say presentations, you mean EN will do presentations for your idea. You don’t have to do anything. You can simply wait and watch, right? That sure is cool. For the 20 bucks. And the moment it reaches G8, you get 2,500 advance too.

If your idea/invention makes it to G7, then EN will present your idea for you. Videos of prototypes/products or any visual aid that you can provide is helpful but not required. Just describe your idea the best that you can and EN will do the rest. Isn’t that great?!

Oh, you need to give presentations to the companies? Does EN help in any ways? Would you need to create videos etc too. I just have images, and unfortunately I am not a designer, so have limited design abilities.
Does that mean that my idea will not go through?

Wow! That’s gr8 news. Congrats! I can see that you already have 94000 points in just 3-4 months. I didn’t know that you can get a deal in 3 months. I read some other posts where they said that people haven’t got deals in 6 months too.

Welcome to EN. Great start on the list.
I guess “slow” is a relevant term…I have been inventing for many years and have never been able to develop and negotiate a deal in less than a year. Maybe it’s just me, but since coming to EN in May of this year, I have already had three ideas presented to large companies on my behalf. These presentations were done professionally and to people that I never would have been able to approach. For me EN has been a
fast track.
A couple more points; as you move up through the levels they will enhance your idea and do a patent search! But one of my favorite things about EN, (besides the ENers themselves) is that I am prompted to invent things that I never would have without the search offerings.
Two of my ideas presented so far, were ideas that I came up with specifically for the searches!
