Today’s distinct Season was at 90 something in the canyon (100 plus track temp)…no sweaters yet! Not to worry though, my battle ship comes complete with AC. lol
Even if the world is to end the month after your debut, I’ll still put my order in…on credit of course…can’t wait to see all you movie stars in action! ;-)

Greg, I and others been here quite awhile, this agitation too will pass, but some keep coming back, but not as themselves…..just saying.

Like the pig and the mushrooms, some are worth it, some are not. Just came here to enjoy, and create, and now I have a sifter, though it might not always work, I am fortunate to find the fine. You be one of them.

I’m saying a prayer for you and all the others right now.
Cathy will tell you the waiting was making me less fun to be around. I didn’t have a solution for that. On one hand I believed it wasn’t that important to be on the show and on the other hand I knew it would be a good thing. I’ve never seen a well mannered schizoprenic.
We will help you get it out of your mind this weekend with a beach pub crawl. The water is looking good again since T.S. Lee stirred things up.

Sometimes it seems like it’s a child, with as much rearing as we put into it!! lol
I filed on July 21, 2009, and happened to luck out and get a good Examiner; we had
two phone interviews, the second lasting almost 40 minutes, where we talked in depth
about the prior art and what it would take to overcome it, which was concluded to be
the ornamental/enclosed application. Don Kelly was kind enough to show me how
to get past the Puplication Office notice, so it all worked out really well.

We’d talked about your experience with the Examiner before, which was kind of scary,
and you’d asked me to keep you updated.

Looking forward to seeing more of the Ladies names/videos coming up too, Toni! <:-)

As for EE S4: This wait-n-see is no fun and at times it is getting harder to keep the faith but I am very thankful for the opportunity. Chappy, looking back through the forum assures me that you are still keeping things interesting and moving along well. I don’t know how you do it between real estate, submitting new ideas and fueling debate between these very intelligent people. Susan must be taking good care of you.
Frank, congratulations on the patent! We can talk here. I have a lot of questions. Is it your first? Is it a boy or girl? How much did it weigh? What did you name it? Ha Ha you get my point I’m sure. These accomplishments hold a place in our lives similar to a child and they are almost as hard to expose to the subjective critique of the world. Forgive my ignorance but is this patent for your ornaments? I would love to hear more about it like how long did it take, were you able to keep most of your original claims, what do you think of your patent examiner, are you currently commercializing it, etc. I’ll stay tuned.

Greetings good friends and mentors. Please forgive my absence. Blame it on the season debut of Hillbilly Handfishin’.
Actually the truth is more personal. I was a participant in a philanthropic group of highly respected, fellow E.N. inventors and recently discovered that I lacked some necessary traits expected of such an esteemed fraternity. My withdrawal generated feelings of embarrassment, shame and disappointment in myself. I haven’t felt much like talking and will not elaborate on it any further other than to reiterate to those friends my apologies for letting them down and my sincere prayer for their success.
To the rest of you who have been so thoughtful to bring this thread back to life I extend my deepest gratitude for your friendship and kindness.
Now for an update on the E.E. subject: I am expecting a camera to arrive from E.N. via FedEx any day now. The next mission for me is to fill a one hour tape of interviewing and other interesting activities. I’ll try not to cry. Think back to Betsy’s promo video from her home. I believe she did that with this same camera or one of a few like it that are circulating through the E.E. five. Speaking of our beloved hard boiled queen, she and Toni Rey are joining Cathy and I at our home in Galveston this weekend. I’ll try to get some early photos before the margaritas challenge our dignity.
As for the other ten finalists I am not privileged with any more info than you are. If you are a praying sort be sure to include them. This has got to be one of the most trying times of their lives. It seems safe to imagine that season 4 is not going to air in 2011. I am glad they are taking their time about launching these products in this dismal economy. Gone are the days of reckless abandon with respect to IPO’s and other wealth creating vehicles. If the world ends in Dec. of 2012 I expect my product will launch in November. That’s okay though. As Gus uttered in his final words “My God Woodrow, It’s been quite a party.”

Kat, that is my favorite part also. Do you remember the story of us sitting at Mr. Foreman’s table in Charlotte for the big welcoming dinner, and one of the other inventors expressed that he was tired and asked Mr. Foreman how long his speech was going to be, and I described Cathy’s big Texas laugh? Now you know what it sounds like. She is crazy fun.
Ginger, I have been developing, patenting, and testing the waters for this product for around ten years. I found E.N. at the end of that road. It was worth the wait even if nothing else happens from here. They have revived my faith in the dream of inventing.

WOW! first time submission I’m impressed!! was this an idea you’ve had for a while or did you just rise to the challenge of the search? I know everyone’s story is different just curious which was your story.
