How long does stage 3 typically take. I have been stuck on it for about 2 months now. I wonder if that’s a good thing?

in which search? also there are alot of open searches right now. and if you put your idea in at the beginning of a search it can take awhile. now once that search ends you will see movement . and the further into the dashboard you move the faster your dash moves.. |

Hello Robert, I’m in the BB&B search and the O-cedar search both are coming to an end so I guess that’s a good thing. Thanks for the reply though. I wasn’t sure if the stages kept moving after the search ends, now I can’t wait until it ends so I can see some movement. |

Raymond, The time it takes to review your idea depends on the search specifics and the volume of submissions. We typically begin reviewing stages 4 and beyond after the search has closed. The review process after the search closes typically takes 4-6 weeks. After which, we present the finalists to our Live Product Search partner, who typically has 45 days from the presentation date to make their final selections. |

I am in the same situation where I am heading into the 9th week now for bed, bath, and beyond since the closure and I am still stuck on stage 3. I am wondering if anybody else is in the same situation or whether if this is a typical stage to get stuck on for most participants? Since this is my first submission and new member, I am still trying to get an idea of how the process works :-s. |

Hello Pastor and welcome to Edison Nation. The following FAQ will explain a typical Live Product Search timeline, however as noted it depends on the volume of submissions and I know the review team is currently very busy. http://support.edisonnation.com/faqs/live-produ... The time it takes to review your idea depends on the search specifics and the volume of submissions. We typically begin reviewing stages 4 and beyond after the search has closed. The review process after the search closes typically takes 4-6 weeks. Edison Nation uses 45 days a guideline, however, the search partner could take up to 6 months to make final selections. Updates will always be displayed in real-time on your Live Product Search dashboard, which can be accessed on this page: http://www.edisonnation.com/dashboard/live_prod... Thanks for your patience : ) |

Has anyone ever had an idea NOT go to G3? It seems they all do, so not sure whether or not that is something to get excited about. |

Thanks to everybody for your feedback on this issue. We’re going to update the Live Product Search submission receipt page/email to better reflect the info that Marla has shared. Your feedback really helped us identify that as an opportunity for improvement. Steffany, some people do indeed NOT go to G3 but if you do your homework and make sure that your idea meets the criteria of the search, you should make it to G3, most of the time. It is, however, still an accomplishment to be proud of :-) Something all G8s have in common: they, too, were G3s at one point! |

Update: After speaking with my team, we do actually include that information in the email receipt (we added it a few months ago – verbatim to Marla’s response). We’re going to highlight it more so it’s more noticeable and also make sure that it’s on the receipt page and not just the receipt email. |

I’ve also been on stage 3 for almost 9 weeks. Maybe 10, I’ve lost count, lol. But it’s nice to know I’m not the only one waiting! I’m trying to make the best of it, thinking it’s just another way to keep up my adrenaline. Its’ working. :) Anyway, I know the EN team is working hard, and maybe it’s a good thing it’s taking longer for them to sort through it. It will make it all the better if you’re chosen! Best of luck to everyone waiting in line! While you wait, go design something else. That’s what I do :) It makes it fun and takes your mind of your one item in line. |
