Yup, with you all on stage 4 and 5, but 4 most of all. That’s where you see about 65% go out… |

I figured 4 and 5 would be the toughest, not counting 8, of course, since there is a small probability a company chooses to invest so much money in any one given product. If the product is unique, stage 4 doesn’t seem like such a big hurdle. Stage 5, however, seems huge because there are likely so many other great ideas from this community. Thanks for all the great feedback! |

I would agree…4 is the toughest with 5 as a close second. If it’s an LPS, I feel some what comfortable with 6 and sometimes 7. Best to you in your journey Brett! |

Yeah, stage 4 claims the most casualties and each stage has its caveats. There is a huge sigh of relief with a G4. It means that you read the requirements correctly and have something they want to look into further. Of course, stage 5 will get you but stage 6 actually puts the details of your project up against the IP of the world… there is just something daunting about that. Stage 7 is plain scary; I think of all the other submissions in the search and ask myself, “why is mine a contender?” Of course, being subjected to the scrutiny of the sponsor is bittersweet. More bitter than sweet if they pass on the project which is more likely than not. The process overall is rewarding allbeit a rollercoaster. Which do you think would be the most difficult? |
