I remember seeing these questions on another thread regarding the Craft Kit LPS and thought I’d transplant it on here….

What I want to do is use the technique in one of my craft kits. It would be part of the process to create the end product. Keep in mind it is the “kit” that is being marketed, not the end product. Does it make a difference? I don’t want to patent the actual technique, but I need to know that it is OK to use it. Do I need permission? As far as I can tell there is no utility patent or design patent.

Hey, thanks, Eddie! John answered some of that when I asked if the kits needed to be patentable, but further clarification about techniques used might be nice.

I submitted my entry yesterday but I want to upload some images into the media section. I forget how to get in and edit your submission? Should I post this in the website section?

Patrice, these sort of questions should be delivered by carrier pigeon. But since you asked, you can either use the link on your home page/your idea database/edit. :)

I don’t see a point in getting nervous. My bosses realize that I have no knowledge of the job, and my 2500 employees are all new as well. I met two of my asst managers yesterday and they seem like good choices for the job. It isn’t rocket science to count people. It’ll be challenging, and may seem improbable, but not impossible.

Well, I figure it’s safe to come out of hiding now. I was afraid if I said yesterday that I had 2 at G5 they would turn red, but now I have 2 at G7 so I hope it safe to tell! And to think I almost didn’t enter my second idea ….wow! Good luck to all and I can’t wait to see everyon’s ideas on the shelves!!!!!!

Quick update folks…We are presenting 25 ideas to Springs Creative. I will post an update by the end of the day tomorrow. I expect that a portion of those 25 will be eliminated and that we will have to wait a bit to get firm commitments on any that remain. Good luck everyone!

Springs Creative Presentation Update***

I am back from presenting the top 25 ideas to Springs Creative. The quality and diversity of the ideas presented exceeded their expectations. Congratulations to all of you and thank you for your contributions.

With that said, Springs is seriously considering ten of the twenty-five submissions presented. If your idea is not in this group, I will update your dashboard momentarily. If you are one of the top ten, I ask for your patience. Springs Creative may take up to 45 days to make their final decision.
