I really like the look! It’s too early to make a grand assessment, but I think I’m gonna like it. I do agree with the font size issue though.

Wow, Wow, Wow! It was a shocking switch, but I like what I’ve seen so far. Much more professional looking.

I agree with Mark Reyland that the fonts are awfully small, as are some of the other graphics, but I’ll look around some more before I list specifics.

OK. I think I’ve clicked everything that is clickable and I definitely like what I see. The colors and format are easy on the eyes (although I was getting used to the tacky, glaring yellow!)

I especially like the black accents against the soft grays and greens….very nice. The educational page looks great and informative. I like the profiles of the EveryDay Edisons and I really like the congratulatory photos of the first LPS winners. The opportunity page is awesome and helps newbies understand what the site is all about. When we refer others to the site, it will be a great place to start them out.

The forum looks nice and clean with the table grids and coordinating colors.

With all that said, there are a few things we’ve noticed that could be tweaked (our opinion, of course).

I no longer see a button for submitting an existing idea to a search.

The section for “Most Recent Upgrades” feels too small and insignificant, since that is the first thing a Gold member is going to want to look at. The graphics displaying the steps and check marks are very difficult to view. They seem too small and the check mark blends right into the line.

The green colors on the home dashboard are beautiful, but are difficult to differentiate between the shades. Maybe there could be a bit more difference between the shades while still maintaining the soft, pale ambiance. (This would probably help on the LPS Update section, as well.)

And of course, it has already been mentioned that the fonts are pretty small for anyone over the age of about 28 to read easily.

I think you’ve done a fantastic job with the look and feel. You should be proud of your accomplishments! We can’t wait to see more!

Let me start by thanking everyone for their compliments and critiques. We’ll do everything to address as many of these comments as we can, but let me just say that we intended the “Most Recent Upgrades” section of the main dashboard to be a quick update of your LPS submissions. The main section in regards to those updates is in the Live Product Search tab on your dashboard. There you’ll find more information and a larger progress tracker, with bigger check marks and Xs etc. There is 4 panels with your submissions, ongoing searches, your idea database, and an archive of past submissions. Take a look at that tab and see if that has the stuff you’re looking for.

Chris, I didn’t think those sub-tabs were active because I only got errors the first time I tried them, but they worked this time and the pages are fantastic! Now, I understand the “Latest Updates” and “Most Recent Searches.” You guys really did a fantastice job! The functionality is greatly appreciated!

Wow – you go away for a few hours and come back to a major change. So far, I thinks it going to be a good change. I just have one concern…I can’t seem to find my unsubmitted ideas in progress that I left in my database this morning. I’ve looked everywhere, but they seem to be hiding from me….Any ideas???

Looks great Matt! From my home page I noticed that when I click “view all” to see all of my dashboards, nothing happens…..However, when I click on the LPS tab, the new page loads them all..
Very clean design……

The new site is not responding. I can’t log in or check my dash boards. Is anyone else having these problems?

Having some issues…I can’t log in takes me three to four times to log in and each time it states 502 proxy error. I am not able to view my friends list when trying to email them it states error again. Is anyone else having these problems?

Ok, I still can’t find my unsubmitted ideas in progress that I was working on a few days ago. As a test, I just started a new submission, typed in a little info, clicked on save and continue….can’t find it anywhere on my dashboard??? Is anyone else having this problem or am I just inept at finding things?

Nope, it isn’t just you, Carol…My Spencers Halloween LPS submission data is also M.I.A.!? I had everything complete, minus finishing my media for upload, and now it’s nowhere to be found. I wrote to the EN Team a few minutes after they launched the new site regarding it, but, haven’t received anything back on it I could pass along…Sorry!

Carol, I wouldn’t do a lot of work on submissions until these problems are fixed. I’ve emailed Matt about the problems we’re having and I believe he’ll get the bugs out soon.

Thanks Eddie & Danny – I wasn’t too concerned…was mainly wondering if I was just being blind and missed it (after all, it took me a long time to find the my idea database link on the old site – it was there all the time, I just never noticed it before) I figure our ideas are safe and somewhere and they will come back soon. Toni, in this case they simplified it. If you Click on “my dashboard”, you’ll see the dashboard on the right. Click on “view all”.
This will show you all your dashboards, but half way down you will see all of your ideas. They combined the old dashboard page and the old “innovation station” pages into one.

Danny, I’m not having any problems seeing my dashboards. When you click on “my dashboard” you’ll see all the info from the old “home” page.
Just click on “view all” under your dashboard.

I haven’t submitted any new submissions so I can’t help you here.

Now that’s a different story. We don’t have editting ability to change the name or catagory of our submission. That’s an edit that only and email can solve.
