Don’t seek happiness. If you seek it, you will not find it, because seeking is the antithesis of happiness. Happiness is ever elusive, but freedom from unhappiness is attainable now, by facing what is rather than making up stories about it. Unhappiness covers up your natural state of well-being and inner peace, the source of true happiness. Eckhart Tolle

Re: your avatar – but you probably are too young to remember the white blocks of lard with the little yellow dye packet on top of it, under the wrapping. I was very young but it was my privilege to mix the two together so it would look like butter. And now we try to stay away from lard; however, the best Tamales are made here in Yuma (probably by illegals) and they use tons of lard. Yum, yum.

Sounds like a good recipe for a G.C. Very interesting by the way. Do you miss it at all?
As a Kid I lived in North Park for a bit. Spent a lot of time in Balboa Park.
Strange… as I’m typing this, my clock is chiming out the tune that reminds me of Balboa Park the most. (clock tower) It was a very peaceful place for me…

A part of my FAV poem given to me by my Mom. Stephen, I’m a big Eastwood fan and was quoting that same phase to my teenager just the other day. Did you see the time Clint was on his way to gun down three bad guys. As he walked to meet them, there was a guy nailing caskets together at a slow pace in the heat. Clint looked over at him and said “Your going to need three more of those” The casket maker then started nailing at a fast pace. He knew he would have three more customers in a few minutes after Clint was done with them.
