Can't get started: commissional broker, or investor?

Hello – I’m new to the forum. It seems the best for inventor opinion. I live in the golden state’s capital, and turned 25 on Black Friday; the night of a full moon. Likely, I’ll become a creative protégé and self-made millionaire in the near future. I’ve surmised toy making as my most creative style of inventing, and strongest bet as of now. From what I’ve taken, I may be able to assign authorship copyrights while allowing the assignee to establish a manufacture patent of their own causes and intentions (feel free to advise this).

However… I have no innitial funding, and would appreciate learning of any major toy brokers who work on a commissional basis. Alternatively, of investors who fund broker fees, so I may skurry through this innitial hurdle of getting started at all.

Thanks for that, as it gave me a better understanding of fee pricing. But I believe there may be more to the story, based on this legal definition:

“Broker: An individual or firm who serves as an agent for others in negotiating contracts, purchases, or sales, in return for a fee or commission.”

So, notice it says fee or commission, and not and/or. This caused some confusion for me. But I was always planning on making independent submissions if I couldn’t find a commissional broker.

And if anyone is interested, just FYI – the difference between an agent and manager is that agents work by fee/commission, whereas managers work by a monthly payment. Thanks again.
