putting a new idea out there with no IP

in quick search of quick funding. A very low tech part, easily made and great potential, exposure, and very little planning on my part. But basing it on the experience I’ve already got and bringing in a few partners (friends) to help facilitate. The IP can be still chased afterwards, since this would be my first public disclosure. It’s an idea I’ve been sitting on for over a year waiting for my business to take off. I guess I’m hoping that this will save what I’ve worked for. BIG gamble on my part. but this could launch several products with the gained exposure. Worth the risk, yes if it works. If it fails, well I have one year to regroup. Thoughts? Kick S…… is the venue of disclosure and funding.

I think it’s all part of the ‘risk vs. reward’ plan. Only you can make that call, but I would always trust my instincts first, and do not second guess yourself. Yes, I’m famliar with that venue you speak of and have seen alot of great things on there. The question you have to ask yourself: Are items getting funded quickly on that site? I know of more than a few fantastic ideas that are already developed and ready to go but are not getting the funding that fast much to my surprise. Some of the items I speak of are from fellow ABC SharkTank season 3 semi finalists like myself, and personally I think they have dynamite potential. If I had the money I would have invested in them myself, that’s how good I think they are. I say “Let go, trust the force Luke!”
