Specific venture capital (construction)

Does anyone have any Idea where I would look for a venture capital co. that deals specifically with funding innovations in the construction industry?
I would only be looking for about $50,000.00 total.
From what I have seen most firms deal in much higher figures.
Another issue I have is I dont want to go into production, I just want to sell the I.P. rights and the first prototype.
It seems they want to get you to the stock market for long term gain.
Should I be looking for more of an angle investor?
If so does anyone know who deals in construction type angle investing?
Thanks , I have learned some good stuff here, and I know I ask some goofy questions.
Thanks for the patience.

An ANGEL investor might be a good thing but stay away from those investors with an ANGLE.

Use that little green ‘search’ button above and type in words like ‘investors’, ‘angel investors’, ‘funding’, etc: you should be able to dig up more info.

Good luck…

gobignetwork.com may be a good source of information and leads. I had posed something on there a few years ago, got a bunch of ‘nibbles’ but nothing else. For the amount you are looking for, an Angel Investor would probably be the way to go. Most states have their own Angel Investor groups (try to google this). Another good source of info may be SCORE (Score.org) which is retired professionals who volunteer and help business owners with questions and provide help. Good Luck!
