Thanks for the post, Todd.

I just started watching Shark Tank this month and have only seen two episodes. This show, as well as others like it, are interesting to watch. They can also be informative.

I’m amazed by the number of people who have appeard on Shark Tank and Dragon’s Den who have had dismal sales (or no sales), yet they value their business at well over $1 million. Talk about having your head in the clouds.

I loving the show and guessing which one of the sharks will bite at the proposal and which ones will bite their head off. Susan, as you stated the issue with a number of the Inventors is they over value the product to the point they lose as soon as they walk in the door. No investor is going to pay $250,000 for a portion of a company at is in reality worth about $50,000. They did not get rich being careless with their money.
