I will never forget when one of my products got into some local stores on a limited basis. It is a great feeling to walk down the isle and see the stand. The only thing better was when the stands were empty the first time.

Just checking, has there been any AeroLeash sighting out in your communities yet? Please feel free to report any AeroLeash sighting to this sight. Well so far I had a Doctor at work come running down the hospital hallway waving the SkyMall magazine shouting, “Hey Mar, your product is in SkyMall!” It was great because one of the nurses checked out the AeroLeash product in the magazine and ordered one immediately! I have a new dream that I will log on to Edison Nation and see AeroLeash in the success banner. I have to admit, I hit it almost every day expecting AeroLeash to pop up! I think I know the Secret.
My daughter was watching the Ellen Degeneres show a few weeks ago and Ellen was giving out SkyMall products. She said she was holding her breath thinking maybe one of the products would be AeroLeash. Sadly not yet, but I am still hoping, dreaming, and believing!

Congratulations Mary! When I joined EN a couple years ago, I saw your product and tried to find where to buy it. Sounds like there were some bumps and turns in the road, which is why I couldn’t find it at the time, but I am so glad to hear your product made it to the other side and that you didn’t give up. I need your leash even more today, especially when I try to walk my dogs in the dark. Let me just say that it must be a ridiculous sight to see me juggling the leashes, poop bags and flashlights in my hands whenever the “duty calls”. I am thinking your leash will really help me out.

Hi Ginger welcome to the community. You’ll find that this network is informative, and everyone here is mostly positive and extremely supportive of one another. My journey with EE has been about 4 years, but I knew deep in my heart that EE would eventually make it happen and they did. I have read many posts where inventors convey their frustration with the amount of time that it takes to bring a product to market. Well, it certainly does take a lot of time in order to find the right company fit for your product. It also takes a lot of rejection, disappointment, and trial and error. I think SkyMall is a great fit for AeroLeash for several reasons. (1) Great advertisement- the consumer will know exactly what the product does just by viewing the photo. (2) Excellent price point- it’s affordable (3) Dog products apparently sell really well in SkyMall (4) New Year’s resolution-everyone wants to lose weight and good pet parents will include their dogs in that formula.
Ginger, I am so glad you like the AeroLeash product because I think so many other people will too. I want pet parents to just enjoy the healthy experience of powerwalking or running with their dogs. This product is also great for pet parents who live in apartments and condos and have to be outside walking with their dogs. For example, I have a co-worker who lives in an apartment and who used my Aero Leash prototype. The feedback I received was that she loved to use it, especially in the cold winter weather. Since she wore the Aero Leash over her coat sleeve, she was able to place her hands in her pockets. Regardless, I think it’s just a fun exercise for you and the dog! I once read in a ladies health magazine that a woman who started powerwalking with her dog lost 15 pounds in one year. That is without altering her diet! Well, I know what I need to do post- holiday is start powerwalking with my new AeroLeash! Even if you’re a gym goer, it’s nice to break away from your normal routine and powerwalk with your best friend!

Sadly my lab is no longer with us but I am getting one of your leashes as soon as I get my next dog. Yes, this has been a very long journey for me and the Everyday Edison’s team. Certainly the Everyday Edison team deserves all the credit for hanging in there with me and Lisa.
