I wanted to congratulate Holly Tucker for a very successful Direct Television test campaign for her Season 3 invention, The Shoe Skirt. The test campaign went so well that the DRTV spots have been remastered with new offers based on what we learned in the test campaign and are now hitting airwaves nation-wide. Holly is off to a great start – congratulations Holly!

Hi Cheryl,
I’m sure there will be a special offer to Gold Members but not for at least a few months so if you’re giving out Shoe Skirts for Holiday gifts, now’s your chance :-)

We’re actually working on a huge store for you guys that will include discounts for gold members and ultimately a lot of features that will directly benefit our members. Look for that in the coming months.

So how do we order cause I seriously want them.

I was going out this weekend to buy the metal shoe racks for each of my girl’s rooms because their shoes are never lined up in their closets.

Now I can buy them each one of these!

Ya know what else I love about this, that you don’t have to just put shoes in them!

You can put books or magazines or the remote!!!

Can you imagine an actual spot for your remote!

Hello Holly,

Congratulation for the great start Holly. Now that you got one success product to market thanks to EN and ASOTV, I am sure there will be more great products to come “soon”. :-))

We all are very happy for you and your success. This definitely sets a great tone for what EN can do for all the inventors and the partners they have alligned themself with along the way.

It looks like now I have to try to catch up to you. :-))))) Great job!!!!

I couldn’t believe my eyes!!!! My mother-in-law had that same idea and developed it in her FEMA trailer – Katrina. That’s how she organized her and her husbands shoes in such tight quarters.

We’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving in their renovated home. I’ll let her know she had a great idea. Congratulations Holly! Your product should be standard issue for those FEMA trailers.

Thanks for all the kind words, and thanks to EE for believing in my ShoeSkirt. I’m enjoying every single second of my big EE adventure.

Julie, the handbag organizer is not something I created. Personally I have issues with shoe and shoe storage- not purses :-)

Fantastic Holly! It’s definitely one of those “why didn’t I think of that?” inventions!!!

I LOVE seeing that there are still simple products that no one’s ever brought to market. It makes inventing that much less intimidating — I don’t have to invent the next iPod or vehicular passive restraint system, I can create something out of fabric!

Nice! Best of luck for big sales numbers! Seems like you might have the knack for the organizer type product…what’s your next one??? The trick is to get that first one…then things come easier.

WOW!!! I come back from a weekend at camp and alot has happened.

Holly GREAT IDEA!! Holly, you’ve got a great knack/skill for coming up with some great “low tech” solutions to everyday problems. You are truly an inspiration.

Is this the product Holly got on season 3 for?

If so I’m suprised that EE let the “cat out of the bag”, I guess that’s because its such a great invention.

Way to go Holly!

Jason,
We let the cat out of the bag because the spots are already running! It is now in A/B testing in various markets so one of you will see offer A and another will see offer B. In another month or so, we’ll crunch all of the numbers and determine which offer sold best and standardize on/build upon it. BTW, it’s more like A/B/C/D/E… testing but they still call it A/B testing. I can’t tell you too much more yet but she’s off to a great start!

Also noteworthy: this is the first invention that we will have taken the direct television route with for the show so you guys will learn a lot about the ins and outs of the industry, how hard it is to crack and how big of a deal it is if you have a home run on your hands on next season of Everyday Edisons.

Hey Matt, you say it’s going to be the FIRST invention you take the direct TV route…do you know of any other Season III inventions that might go that route and when that may be? I can think of a couple that would do great in that market! LOL!!!
