Amber, when I was looking for a new direction, writing seemed like an obvious choice for me because I like creating things.

I found EN after writing the story.

As much as this publisher asked me to keep up with writing and learning about writing, I absolutely HATED this story after editing it for the 100th time :-)

I told my husband to remind me that I hate writing hahaha

I’ll see what happens, maybe I like writing a bit more after today ;-)

It’s for a book of contemporary short stories(3500 words).
They had rules, like no sad endings, no sex swearing etc. They basically had to be happy stories.

So when I post it a little later, you’ll get the Disney feeling lol…I think anyway. My husband disagrees :-)

Me too….I was going to say “Make sure to share it here so we can all see it!”, but then I thought I might be having one of those assumptive moments that would make you have to come back and say, “If you want to see it, you’ll have to buy it!” lol. I sometimes ask questions that people actually outright ignore or have to come back and say they can’t, and I don’t mean anything by it – just getting caught up in the moment. lol.

As all things change in life, so do the people in his daily routine and it upsets his balance for the better.

It’s a story about community,family, life, friends and love :-)

Susan, when I took my kayaking course. The instructor said when on a beach and another kayaker comes by and asks if they can share for the night, you must always say yes.

You don’t know their story and they may have been turned down by many before you. They may be tired and turn around the corner and drown.

That little thing he said stuck with me. So now when I look at people in any type of distress, I don’t judge them, I wonder what their story is.

The imagination can fly from there.

Hi Robert,I had the story on my EN homepage here,but I have since deleted it.

I only hold it on my computer now, until the release of the book of short fiction stories. There was a delay and I believe they are trying to have it out for the end of this year, or early 2010. I am currently working on my third story.
