One of my NASCAR submissions got the RX4 today and I was wondering why…considering NASCAR does not have a footwear product line, I thought this was a NO brainier, so I designed over 50 unique shoe designs for all NASCAR fans, that would target any age group. So I went back to read the search description and found why I got the BIG RX4….How in the heck did I think that footwear was part of apparel, what a goof on my part…lol Now I have all the these NASCAR shoe designs and don’t know what to do with them, any suggestions?? lol

Yes I would like to see it to. Having honest feed back regarding our products I think is a very good idea. But for sure need to be Honest not just to make the inventor happy for now then later to be sorry spending money for something is not valuable. |

ooops, I meant NBA on my last post…lol, I got an idea, considering I have no use for these NASCAR shoe designs anymore, I can post them all here on the forum and you all can vote what stage it should go, this is not to take away the integrity from EN evaluation process, it’s merely to see how EN members think, could be interesting. If I get enough yes’s, I’ll post them, if not….. no big deal! |

Thanks Roger, I hear what your saying, sure anyone can customize their own shoes for a high price, I just don’t understand why NFL, MLB, MBA, NHL all have some type of shoe line product and NASCAR doesn’t, I incorporated all team stock car colors and graphic to my shoes that would target all NASCAR fans….it cost Nike and Vans no more than $5 to make their shoes overseas, so one can see the profit potential for these type of shoes, price point for these type of shoes $60, here a few of my designs, Scooter there is even a shoe for you…lol file:///C:/Documents and Settings/Carlos/My Documents/NASCAR Sneaker Designs.doc |

You are not kidding Scooter…..NASCAR is on everything! One of my first considerations was to make a small branding iron that could be used while tailgating; brand your favorite driver’s number right into a burger, steak, or bun…….simple, easy to manufacture..no dice – already done…. After sorting through 15 or 20 possibilities, I have 2 that qualified as truly original….. |

No…. these shoes were designed to resemble all teams stock cars color scheme and graphics, without the sponsors logos, they were to target age groups from infants to young adults, though I did make some plain white sneakers with some checkered designs for adults, if you can find me a pair a sneakers that resemble a NASCAR stock car color scheme, I want to see them……I wouldn’t just put a NASCAR logo on any pair of shoes, that would be dumb! Plus, I would think these type of sfile:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Carlos/My%20Documents/My%20Pictures/The%20Race%20Shoe%20by%20Nascar%20009.jpghoes would be protected by NASCAR trade mark. |

You can’t just stick their logos on a pair of shoes…Heck, they can do that. Unless you put them on “YOUR” pair of shoes and those shoes were unique and potentially patentable. They want to stick their name on “YOUR” invention. HMMMM? I’m a huge NASCAR fan and still can’t think of anything I haven’t seen them already stick their name on…… but there is still time left…good luck!!! |

Carlos, I still think that everything from hats to footwear would still be listed as apparel. I don’t think that I could convince a woman that is wearing very expensive and fashionable high heel shoes that they were not part of her apparel. |
