Thanks Chris… Ps. The small diamond one is supposed to look like a red pheonix rising up but it’s kinda hard to see.

Thanks Mgerl!… I consider myself a bit of a roof artist lol. Every design’s not for everyone but the old lady that owns the house asked me if I could make her hearts with wings, so I said sure!

William,

Are you going to do the two roofs at the bottom of the picture next?

Just kiddin’ of course. I never really thought of using a roof for creative expression. Looks very nice. You are very talented. I bet word of mouth keeps you very busy.

Hahahaha! Thanx Colonel, yeah that big roof next to ‘em is a public school n it hasn’t re-opened yet, but yeah I’d love to do a job that big… I could work pencils n books into the patterns! Hahaha, but the city hasn’t gotten around to fixin’ most of our schools yet.

William,

You ought to put the link to your roofs on your profile. I’ve shown a couple people but have had dig to find this topic. Great work!

Wow, William! What a talent! Are most of the tiles palletized, ready to go?

William, how cool! Should feature your roof in the local paper. I will have to show my dad this photo, he is a catastrophe adjuster & doubt he’s “adjusted” a roof as creative as this one!

Thanx ladies,.. Julie, The slates aren’t pre-mixed in any order, I just pick them up in batches of different color slates and arrange them together into whatever patterns the home-owner wants. (Like Legos!) It’s easy. Courtney, make sure to tell ur dad that it’s not gonna leak! (I’ve had architects and adjusters wonder before) But reassure them that each slate placed still maintains at least a 2 inch head-lap at every bond line. :)
