I know this has been a controversy since they claimed they landed on the moon i just want to know if anybody else thinks THIS . since we are inventors we are independent thinkers and don’t care if someone else says we could do something or not.
Even though i was not born in 1969 i know the big propaganda of having the first man on the moon, competing against the russians, we did not even had the microwave in use yet!!
I do believe that we orbit the earth, and that we have a space station but not the technology to land on the moon and take off of it HURLING back to earth————OUR GOVERNMENT WOULDN’T LIE TO US WOULD THEY!!!!! HA HA

Also – why can’t the Hubble telescope point at the moon and see the US Flag or the stuff left on the moon? Where are the Hubble pictures of the landing sites etc.?

YES I THOUGHT THE SAME THING IF WE CAN SEE JUPITER AND SATURN UP CLOSE WE SHOULD EASILY SEE THE FLAG AND SPACE EQUIPMENT LEFT BEHIND—-THEY CLAIM TO HAVE MOON ROCKS BUT ANYBODY CAN GET METERITES FROM HERE ON EARTH ALREADY ALSO RUMORS HAVE IT THE BACKGROUND IS THE SAME AS AREAS 51 LANDSCAPE IS AND THAT IS WHY PEOPLE CAN’T GO THERE

I need to chime-in, in part because I work for NASA – JPL. I give a lot of presentations to colleges and get the Hubble question often. The reason we can’t see foot prints or other witness marks on the moon with Hubble is because it’s resolution isn’t strong enough. Telescope resolution is usually indicated by arc-seconds, and Hubble has about a 45 milliarc-second resolution, which is the strongest we have in space currently. But even at 40 milliarc-seconds, for an object that is 250,000 miles away (the Moon), the smallest size Hubble can detect is 180 feet, or about half of a football field. The LCROSS spacecraft which shot the moon last year, did pick up some of the large capsules and rover trail marks, but still not strong enough to see footprints.

Hey Mike, I didn’t recognize you at first; I guess we both turned into pets :-)
I’m a big conspiracy buff, but I do believe we landed on the moon. I’m currently working on the next Hubble replacement telescope that will have a 4 micro-arc second resolution. Not only will we see footprints with it, but will read the Nike logo imprint as well ; – ), its called SIM (space interferometer mission).

What’s the matter with you people???? I’ve already invented stuff for when we live on the moon soon.
Simply called my moon inventions. Of coarse we landed there!
No serious…know what makes me mad…i know a guy that works for a company that is working on a manned flight to Mars. This guy I know is a heat transfer engineer. He is working on the exterior tiles of the craft. He was working on the project a couple years and told me the project is years off…this was a few years ago now…but do we need to spend money on that?
This story is ALL fact…he showed me his work and a couple of his granted patents on spaceship parts…but I had no idea what I was looking at…us Polish people have a hard time flying paper airplanes.
Go to the airport…read the Polish airline. Their actual name is Lot Polish …says it right on the side of the plane. Wise ass me went up to the desk and said one time…atleast you warn people. Hey…I like to joke….gotta crack jokes on yourself sometimes too.

Myth Busters had a really fun episode where they tried to recreate each of the alleged hoaxes that are most commonly associated with the moon landing.
I tried to find the entire episode on Hulu but it wasn’t there. I did find a clip, though http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-lun...

We were in a huge race with the Russians to get to the moon first, as I’m sure you’re all aware. If the moon landing had been a hoax, I guarantee the Russians would have spared no expense in exposing it. So what have we heard from our comrades on the subject? Nothing. They know we landed there.

" Even though i was not born in 1969 i know the big propaganda of having the first man on the moon, competing against the russians, we did not even had the microwave in use yet!!"
(Unless this is a ‘whoosh’) This is good example of the poorly researched agruments about the moon landing being a fake.
Microwave ovens go back to the 1940’s, with units (unsuccessfully) offered for sale in the 50’s and more widely available at reasonable prices in the mid-60’s.
(I assume the OP means “microwave oven” and not just “microwave” – those go back even further.)
The Mythbusters did a good job of busting some of the lame arguments. The one about shadows being out of line was a great example of a claim that could have been de-bunked by anyone with a lamp and some sand.

Is the fake moon landing a republican or liberal conspiracy? I don’t think it’s bipartisan.

I happen to know it is for real!
I was living in a condo by the sea of tranquility at the time and saw the space capsule land about a mile from the moon rock cafe and saw the Astronauts running around my front yard drunk as skunks.

Mike – Not for another 5 yrs…it was suppose to launch this year at one point, but because of budget cuts, we took a back seat to JWST (James Webb Space Telescope), which will go up in 2 years and in it’s own right will dazzle us with images of space never seen before.
The feline shave-o-matic, sounds like a Petsmart G7 waiting to happen!
