I was having a discussion today with one of the EN staff about the far reach of this forum around the world. They told me the forum is viewed in over 50 counties….I thought that was really cool, although I can’t count more than 6 or 7 that we ever hear from.
So…Chime in people – just post a single post with the country you are in, and how long you have been a member of EN….Let’s see how many of those 50 we can come in contact with and make some new inventor friends at the same time.
I’m sure someone can count them up and give us a tally in a week or so….

Great thread Mark. We do receive quite a bit of international support – I wish we heard more from the international community on the forums. The drive for innovation, like science and art, is a sort of international language.

Hi Matt, would that mean that EN is translated in diffrent languages, and when we post, it would translate, say in china, in their language?

June, right now, it’s english-only. My guess is that most are looking at it in English. However, there are Web translators out there that can be used to translate foreign language sites on the fly – not perfectly but it can get the point across.
Check out this link: http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ and point it to a foreign-language Web site.

Alaska, USA: Home of one of Playboy Magazine’s top ten party bars, Sarah Palin, AAA number 1 rated most scenic highway in the US, and the Iditarod- The Last Great Race.
Now it is interesting that you should bring up the subject of the babelfish, because we have been known to say some not so “politically correct” comments about a few of those countries on the list, and by effectively removing all barriers to communication between different races and cultures, the babelfish has caused more and bloodier wars than anything else in the history of creation..
If you are not familiar with the babelfish, click here…

New England. About a few months.
Matt:
Would those countries be listed as they pertain to an IP Address result?
I travel internationally quite a bit and periodically check the EN site. Would any of those countries listed possibly be my international inquiries?
If you MUST know, I follow the Eukanuba Championships around the world. Some of those poodles are way hot.

Daniel, if you visited the site while traveling in any of those countries, it’s likely that you’re accounted for in that list. Spread the word while you’re out there :-)
