Inspiration for Inventors

What about a place where we can offer quotes which might be or could be inspirational for inventors?

I’ll begin and we’ll see what happens.

“What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists
and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of
mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully
determined not to quit until he finds it.”

Inventing is a combination of brains and materials. The more brains you use, the less material you need.

Learn how to fail intelligently, for failing is one of the greatest arts in the world.

An inventor fails 999 times, and if he succeeds once, he’s in. He treats his failures simply as practice shots.

Albert Einstein has been credited with saying this: “Small is the number of them who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts. But it is their strength that will decide whether the human race must relapse into the state of stupor which a deluded multitude appears today to regard as the ideal.”

Hey Julie,
I’m bringing this forum back to the top with a new one I just heard the other day:

“If you invent for the elite, you end up eating with the masses, but if you invent for the masses, you’ll end up eating with the elite”

You’re still the queen of quotes!

Here is another one: read a few times and think about it:

Julie,Google has a feature called igoogle that allows you to customize your home page with all sorts of gadgets, like daily quotes, horoscope weather etc. In the upper right corner of the igoogle page you will see ,add stuff, click on that and a new window comes up that you can scroll through or search fo a specific type of gadget and add it to your home page.
