If you guessed that this was going to be about Fisher Price, well not really.
There are many varying methods used to improve or re-invent products, but what product to start with is always a little bit up in the air.
Many ideas are born out of problem areas and some from our own special interests. But what about a random list born out of irrelevance?
So be it that I would like to propose an unusual and fun way of creating a list of common areas that might work as a platform for new ideas.
The “F.P.” phenomenon is a game I made up a couple years ago while at work, (some days are a little slow). On the Rail Road we have F.P. signs located at our switch’s (Foul Point). On this particular day I was asked what the sign stood for, and of course I started coming up with everything that it didn’t stand for. Was it “Fence Post” or “Front Porch”? As the list grew I began writing them down and the list went from interesting to amazing to a small phenomenon!
Please help me recreate the list and exercise your mind and parameters at the same time.
The F.P. list is guaranteed to amaze and the rules are simple and flexible. The F.P. terms must be common, “Frank’s Place” is a no but “French Pastries” is a winner. Have fun and no “Funny Phaces”!

The Future Potential of robotic assistance is truly alluring, but indeed may lead to the Fraught Perils of dependency…not to mention the psychological effects of caring for or not caring for humanoid robots. Do we know how to turn our emotions on and off between real people and an animated object…at what point when talking to a robot, are we really just talking to ourselves…Freaky Phenomenon…

Michael..that’s what I love ’bout the weekends!
Funny thought here, if only Fisher Price could put some “furry patches”/“fuzzy plush” on that robot seen on the cover of last month’s issue of Inventor’s Digest-make it wiggle back and forth and sing some “famous preschool” tune…it would surely free up some more time for me! That, and the laundry robot that Japan is working on! Might be a little too freaky though—remember when I was pretty young and saw “Westworld” at the drive-in and it scared the bejeezus outta me!

The way Pizza Hut used to do it (back in the late 80’s) was slices of fresh tomato and fresh baby spinach leaves over a more-or-less normal white pizza with garlic and olive oil instead of marinara… om nom nom thin crust… yum.
