Thinking back when we were kids. The other day I was talking to my older sister about all the new ideas that I have been having. I said to her that I do not understand why all these ideas are suddenly going through my mind. She just said to me that all things happen for a reason. Well I have heard this many times during my life and yes I do believe it. Then I asked her if she ever had ideas like mine go through her head and she said that when she was only 8 years old she had an idea about movies on a cassett tape so everyone could see them anytime they wanted to.She never told anyone about her idea and many years later movies did come out on tapes and everyone could watch them anytime they wanted to. Wow, what if she did say something about it then? what would have happened? IF any young adults or kids are reading this I strongly urge you to not hold back the ides in your head. Many times a young mind has visions of things to come. Never hold your ideas back.. Just for fun think back on ideas that you have had in the past and write them down. Submit them to Edison Nation and who knows what will happen next.

Richard, when I was in elementary school back in the 1950’s, I thought of the electric pencil sharpener. I think it was already out there but I had not seen one yet. I’ve thought of LED replacement bulbs for flashlights with the incandesant bulbs, and LED pathway lighting, before they were produced. I hand made fiber optic sights for handguns and rifles before they were on the market. I could not afford to produce them though. My dream is to come up with new ideas before anyone else and submit them to Edison Nation, and hope that they can also see the potential to get them produced successfully. Wishing you sucess on your ideas Richard. |
