I am hoping a “pong” will have a little more strength then a “bump”.

Everyone is telling me to have patience. I have plenty of it. I’ve just been wanting to know a bit more of the progress on this.

Melinda, I also saw that about someone who was in G7 on ASOTV for a year.

Something that gave me somewhat of a sign of relief, is this piece from the terms and conditions:
“Finalist Phase
The period of time starting on the date on which the Innovation is deemed to be a Finalist (Stage 7) and continuing for 6 months.”
So, I guess if I’m in G7 for more than 6 months, then I will start to worry.

Melinda…I got to research and you are right. So we will wait to hear when they make an announcement of the winner as they are doing with past ASOTV . Which may be a long while. So I’m getting a better grip of how it works. Scott is very good at announcing after presentation so makes sense now. Fred….I have been submitting too and will continue. Betsy…patience is the word…and I know you are an ASOTV success so….Thank You for that advise. See you all when we congratulate a winner here or any of us have any update on their dashboards please share. Meanwhile stay green……

Sounds good to me. We will keep the thread alive and remind ourselves how much fun we are having. And, you all know, we are in a good place. What a great opportunity we have here. Thanks EN! I have been busy working on some other submissions..really helps to pass the time and remain relatively patient. Besides, Ben is always changing his avatar…that should keep us distracted.LOL

I just read some where in the forums that someone has had a g7 in asotv for a year. I guess this does not sound so bad after reading that.

I guess its just hard to see updates from other searches and none from these. I want to be patient but am dying to know something. I know ASOTV is a different search but the anxiety is the same. This is my first presentation since joining. I see lots of despair here….lets look at it positively…no news remains as good news or G7s. Let all keep each other going here meanwhile…..lets keep it bumping:)))))))

I don’t mean to imply that we’re out of the running, just that the first round of presentations may not have had any chosen (but then again, if someone got a call from EN, they wouldn’t be able to discuss it either.)

Ben, I can only speak from others’ experiences that when they found out there was interest some got calls for prototypes, etc. And when they had been chosen, they received a call from EN.

On the bright side, there should be several more presentations coming up for this search.

Margaret, I think you may be right. All the other asotv searches they always at least say how the presentation went. We don’t even know if they actually even had a presentation. It’s very unusual that they haven’t even popped in to say at least the first presentation went well etc. I’m starting to think the sponsor did not like any and maybe they are just waiting to present next time.

I don’t know Margaret. We haven’t heard any good news, but we haven’t heard any bad news. We haven’t heard any news! With Justin Elledge’s ASOTV 3rd Quarter G8, it appears to have taken the whole 6 months, and then some, to be chosen. It is strange that we haven’t heard anything. I just don’t know quite what to make of it. Any way I haven’t heard anyone say they have received a red X so we are all still green and still in it, as far as I know.

I can only guess that if there were any interest from this round that we would have heard something from EN. Maybe some people did but can’t share. Sadly, I can share that my phone has not been ringing.

My submissions are varied here – some still at G3 and some already R4…..almost afraid to check and see the status – nerve wracking sometimes with the constant wondering.

I just hope that one of these days I see it all the way through. I am going to keep working at it till I do. I enjoy the whole process so it’s good fun for my creative side and I like that.

They do multiple presentations for ASOTV, so I doubt any R8’s will come anytime soon. They probably will be presenting these ideas a couple times up into May as well. If any are picked, or have high interest and a prototype requested, from the first presentation, EN may reach out. But other than that it will probably be a long wait. Good luck everyone!

Hi Ben, I am sure they will share something eventually. I know they had a busy week with the Rexon presentation as well as ASOTV. You are correct, there is still a chance for lots and lots of R8’s. Wishing you all the best.

Will they eventually share with us any progress on this? I’d hate to think of it, but there’s still a chance for R8. So I guess all the one’s in G7 aren’t 100% in the clear, huh?

I have read other asotv forum posts where they say how the presentation went. They usually don’t include details but I have read where they say sponsor liked a few and etc. maybe they will give us just a glimpse of how the first went and how long till future presentations.

I think things are still “sealed” from prying eyes for right now. But hopefully soon, we’ll see something! :)

It would be cool to see a video of one of these presentations sometime… what happens and how they generally flow. Perhaps it’s a trade secret, but even a demonstration might help people know how to better sculpt their ideas. Or, more selfishly, just satisfy my curiousity about it all. ;)

Fred, I’m a quick learner too! Ha, ha…But seriously, EN has been wonderful in communicating with me and asking for my input. I’ve learned so much from them about branding, packaging, manufacturing, PR, product placement. And I continue to be blown away by all that I don’t know! They sure know what they’re doing, I can definitely tell ya that!

ASOTV can drag out even longer since they present them to multiple sponsors with several different presentation dates. Buckle your seat belts everyone…it’s going to be a long ride. :)

I’m not sure I’d edit at this point. But one thing you could do is attach a word document in the media section with your new info. Then send Scott Dromms an email letting him know that you added something.

Betsy, I could learn to do that real important job and leave the rest to EN with no problems at all.
