I recycled an idea as well and just submitted it today. G1! I have two other ideas in two other searches – G3 in the Christmas Tree Shop and G7 in the ASOTV that ended 12/7/09.

I like your cardboard sign Gerald. You should look at the R8 Collectors Club forum – there is a youtube video and some tee-shirt ideas posted there. Very funny!

Is there a place on this forum with a question and answer section, if so where? if not why?

How can one ask a question without staerting a new post?

My question is, when they have these product searches, such as Ball. In the end is there just one product chosen, or sometimes more then one?

Sometimes one , sometimes none, sometimes more, is the impression I get David…but then again I’m kinda new here too.

If you have a question that is not answered there, see the search icon on the up right, just under show preferences. Put in some key words from your question/topic and you should end up with much information on most any topic.

LPS can usually choose one or more, as I understand it. Once again, go to support, if you can’t find it, you can ask there or the second topic above called "Official Q&A for Live Product Search.

As this has grown over the years, there is probably few questions that have not been answered. As an inventor, be inquisitive on this website, you will learn even more than the answer to the question you were asking, you will learn things you never thought of!

Kevin has it right. The sponsors are not obligated to choose anything in the end, or they can choose everything. There usually is at least one item chosen but not every time. I’ve been here since the beginning and EN has a very good track record. They average between 3-4 Live product searches a month and of those over the past year I think there were maybe 3 that didn’t have an idea chosen.

One thing to remember is that these sponsors are paying a fee to EN to have us try to give them targeted solutions they are looking for. As long as we do our part they will find something and there will be a winner.

Hoping someone can help. I submitted an idea a few months ago that was rejected at g4. It’s better suited for the Ball Horticulture search and was wondering if anyone knows if it’s worth it to resubmit or once it’s rejected is it a waste of time and money to do it again?

Resubmit especially since you think it’s a better fit. Review your design and edit/amend since you failed at that step for the prior search. I have a finalist entry in BBB that is a resubmit. The fit is a big determination of how far your idea would progress. It may have been rejected simply because it did not fit well into the search you entered it in. Become a gold member and you can resubmit a previously submitted idea (new ideas are still charged , but only 20 if you are a gold member) for free to any other/new searches. So if you plan on submitting more new ideas to EN, you may save money by becoming a GOLD member, besides other benefits like the monthly magazine.

i submitted to the ball lps search early march,this is the first search i’ve seen end with most people below G4.

Moved to G4 today.

I submitted at the deadline – at G1 today. Woo Hoo! We will see if there is movement over the next weeks / months…

G3 today! No big surprise there… it has made it this far in two other searches.

I have one at g3 and one at g4. This lps seems to be moving slower than other searches I wonder if they are overloaded.

Now at G4. I’m sure they have been busy focusing on the two BBB searches and the ASOTV which were priorities with presentation dates. This has no presentation date yet so no real urgency yet then.

We have movement,
I lost one at R5, but still have one at G3. The funny thing is the day I complained on here about no movement ,I checked back and had a R5. Is big brother watching us??

Sorry, Cindy! I’ve got a G2 and a G3, waiting as patiently as I can. So at R4, will you tweek and try again? Hope so.

Oh yes, Jane, I will spruce it up a little and will try again in the next ASOTV… it made it to R5 on a previous ASOTV. My philosophy is if you don’t get an R3 or R6 you are still in the game!
