Is Forward Industries as trust worthy as Edison Nation is with people’s intellectual property? Or do you need a patent before you go to the with your ideas? And has anyone personally submitted ideas to their website? I have a few for this search that I’d like to submit

Where are all the G8’s??? Do most of them still not make it into products? On the success page there’s only a few, and some of those are from the tv show. I’ve not seen or heard from the Atomi winner from last year. Does anyone know what won? I’d think Edison Nation would advertise anything it was getting royalties from to get extra sales.

Too bad it did not go beyond R4. I love to work in the park or backyard, (wheather permitting). The glare simply makes it impossible. Options on the market are absolutely impractical.

Ahhhh so very very close. This was the note I received when they killed it…

The sponsor had on short list for awhile and we even spoke about as a packaging type combo item with another product they had interest in.

They also gave me a bunch of links to competitor products and Prior art of similar concepts but all of them were missing my items main feature so I still feel my item is unique and has a place in the market.

I believe strongly in this one and will be producing it myself in the near future. I’ll let you all know when it is available.

Sorry for all the other R8’s as well. Hopefully someone will get chosen…just not me this time.

OK – our team just had a conference call with Forward executive team, and we are updating dashboards.

We have 11 submissions that are still on their board, some additional reach-outs just occurred in regards to follow-up questions, prototypes, and we have our engineering team looking at several submissions where we may be doing some development for them.

I’m a bit worried. My Forward submission went to top spot in my dashboard, but there’s no red or anything…it’s just up there and I believe Andrea, you said that’s not a good thing? Can I ask what it says by the place where it says Next Step by some of yours? Just above the presentation date?

Good morning. I just spoke with CEO (West Coast) and they have a conference call this morning with Global Sales and Product Development team to discuss specifically the Edison Nation project. Will likely start to get some more feedback/updates late today or tomorrow post this call and will try to update accordingly to the dashboards and any reach outs that are needed on additional product info.

Hi Jon, yes, some of us probably got update right out of the gate and don’t post….hope they take 10 on!! :)

Andrea went in with two G7’s and has on G7 and one R8, so they must have updated some. So if you are still sitting G7 then you are still in it! I am sittin G7 as well, keeping my fingers crossed. I have never posted before, (due to fear of jinx) but would like everyone to know I have read lots of comments, and really appreciate everyone’s posts! I love EN!

I thought he said that we’d be hearing something this week though on the dashboards. I totally agree with you Rick.

Hope you are right Andrea, I will take the wait over an R8 any day. Thought maybe EN was just behind on dashboard updates due to all the presentations last week. Not to mention all the new searches. Things must be crazy busy for the EN team! Good luck all.

This one might be a wait since they are flying to EN HQ in the near future (per Scott’s note)…exciting to say the least! The one I have in has a Non Provisional Filed…not sure if that will make a difference, but I know this would sell especially to cell phone companies!! :)

How great is that for us as a community to hear !!!

That was the CEO speaking with us at wrap up of meeting yesterday afternoon in Malibu.

We had 31 items that were presented to Forward and 2 non-LPS technology materials that we shared with them as well and the meeting went very well. they had 3 key executives in the meeting at the start and the audience grew during the meeting to 5. We have alot left on the table to discuss, and they were actually spending time today with several key members who are not in West Coast office, and sharing the presentation, but needless to say you guys really impressed.

They are discussing making a trip to Charlotte in the VERY bear future to discuss projects and growing the relationship, as they are aggressively entering the consumer/retail goods market.

The really cool part is to see these folks react like this when they just spent most of last week at the big CES show in Las Vegas. Fresh off of the industry show for their field, and than they say what they said about you the community, that is a job well done EN community.

Based upon their internal sharing of the docs/presentation and the fact that Chris and I are on the road as we speak in NYC for tomorrow/Thursday before going to Philly for Presentation Friday, it will likely be early next week before we start updating dashboards. As interested as they were we really don’t want to count anything out until their whole team gets their eyes on it.

This appears to just be the beginning of a relationship where the EN community will be bringing innovation to Forward Industries. They are a strong company, with leadership that has taken over with very solid backgrounds, fantastic industry knowlgde and relationships and is aggressively growing their base and platform.
