Of course, for all I know, it’s completely different people on their end. I just found it mildly curious.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. (It took me a while before I noticed this post.)
In answer to the two questions that came up. Answering Holly’s question, there were about 50 G7s presented in this LPS. To answer Andrea’s question regarding the timeline: I submitted my idea very late in March, around the 29th. Sometime around mid- to late-May (as I best recall) it became a G7. It was June 24th when my idea became one of a handful of remaining finalists. The product license announcement came on November 2nd. Although, I’m sure the timelines can very considerably from one LPS to the next.
