LB round #2! I wish I didn’t have an R6 from the first one! I am going to tweak my idea and resubmit it for sure. Plus a couple others. EN is keeping us busy. This is quite fun.

Question regarding Lifetime Brands. My idea is for a cooking method for the BBQ…..think Beer Can Chicken Wire Holder… (not even close to that, but it’s a method and an apparatus for the BBQ). Does this satisfy the search criteria, or is it solely for the ‘organization’ of BBQing. I tend to read these searches incorrectly the first couple of times through.

Suzanne, I think you are right on – it’s pretty wide open as long as it has something to do with cooking out/BBQ’ing. At least that’s my take. So far I have sumbitted an organizer type idea and a grill accessory. Good luck!

Hello everyone! I’ve submitted an idea for this search, and plan to check it closer to the deadline date. I’m sure we’ll all be sitting on G3 for a while.

So I did my first ever Live Product Search submission. I had the concept of an idea without any drawings or presentation.

Will that adversely affect the submission?

Rory – to my understanding the EN staff is a bunch of professionals. They can recognize a brilliant idea in only a concept stage; if the idea is outstanding they will jump right on it with all help you can get from them. If the idea is not “the winner”, or an inprovement of excisting product, it is in your best interest to present it in most appealing way possible, including drawings, CAD, prototyping and video of yourself pitching your idea; in order to let EN know why yours is better then someone else’s.

Thanks Irina! It’s a simple and clean product that’s inexpensive to produce with a potentially high profit margin. I feel it’ll be of interest to them.

I had a G7 but got a red x on presentation day for the first BBB. Those who stayed in at G7 had to wait a considerable amount of time for BBB to make their choice. Hope this helps. Good luck all!
