Wow! Another LPS! This is great! I’ve decided to forego sleeping for a few weeks in order to take advantage of all these great opportunities. Perhaps that will lead to some interesting inventions….

I recently came up with two bath ideas, which are durable goods. Almost all of the the product lines I see from WPH, are textiles; Towels, rugs, sheets, etc…

Even the examples given in the LPS opportunity were a shower curtain, towel or bed skirt.

If anyone has insight, I would like to know if a durable good has a chance in this LPS?

I’ve been MIA for awhile. I have one in G3 for WestPoint Home. I have come up with four additional product ideas but my work has prevented me for documenting so I have not posted yet. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping a positive attitude. Much success to all.

I’m curious to find out how many submissions they had on this search. Doesn’t seem like many people have been responding on this thread.

I’m still at G3. Has anyone had any movement recently?

I submitted one idea… it’s G3 so far.

Jan, EN won’t say how many total entries they have but on BB&B, they told us they submitted 103 to the client. The client kept 36. Out of that number, only 20 people bothered to communicate on the forums so we aren’t able to get a clear picture. However, of the 20, only 13 are still in but we still don’t know about the 16 who chose to keep it quiet. I imagine the same sort of thing will also happen on West Point. I submitted the same idea to West Point and am on G3.

I am beginning to love this EN way of doing inventions.
My first invention has just moved to the second level, hell if you got a great idea and you do not like the idea of investing time and money in it yourself, just pitch it in, if you got the cash to spare,It is a good plan it seems to me.
the fee would ensure you had some faith in it.
Also if I ran a big company, I would much rather get a pool of ideas from the public that depend on a design team

I have even come across the right terminology for it, as I write— ‘crowd sourcing/open innovation’

I know a reputable place here in the u.k that ran little competitions for the independant inventors, and once you put in your idea you never hear about the winners or anything.
I think they are crowd sourcing but I am not sure so I will not mention any names

Just bringing this to the top so we can start to record our progress!

still at G3 here too, same idea bombed out of Walmart last month. I have to say I was torn submitting to them anyway…I try not to shop there.

Went to G5 today! This entry is G%5 in Walmart as well. Uh oh!

Thanks, Jan. It went R6 today in Walmart. I’m thinking this may be a good thing since it’s more of a home fashion product…still G5 in Westpoint. We’ll see.

I have been at G4 for a long time… I agree, there aren’t that many people here telling us where they are in the search. I think the field has been narrowed because of the double duty requirement. Some of the posts here are a little old, has anyone seen any movement? If you are in the Westpoint search and haven’t posted, please tell us what level you are at. THANKS!

Still at G3 here, and I submitted early. It is a very simple concept, and not on the market as far as I can see so not sure what the hold up is?

Matt-Do you know if West Point-Home will have another search any time soon? I’m thinking my product might fit better with West Point than Bed. Bath.& Beyond.

Im at G3 also. I’m staying positive. This is the set when the marketing team evaluates and possibly makes it better. So I’m envisioning that my product is being worked on and enhanced to it’s fullest potential right now…..that why there is no movement. Really makes no movement quite exciting.

Good way to think about it Cynthia. Guess I have some envisioning to do.
