Pep Boys dashboards getting updated. Have 5 items that they are “interested in” and will be reviewing with additional team members this week and making final sign-off on going into NIST program.

Several inventors were contacted over the weekend with prototype and back-up information requests.

Wonder how the presentations (and travels) went with PepBoys and Rio… and how many were presented in total.

As the year comes to an end and as two more Made in America LPS searches come to a close (Rawlings/Shat-R-Shield) …any updates or estimates on when the presentation date for this Made in America: PepBoys LPS might happen?

Ok, we are given until August 29th to submit an idea for this LPS today 7 December we still do not know a Presentation date. If something happened and they had to reschedule a Presentation Date, shouldn’t we be able to submit more ideas to this LPS until they do come up with a Presentation date?

There probably won’t be much happening until after the holiday season. People are gone a lot during this time. It’s already been a long wait on this one though. Dang.

Any idea when presentation date might be?

I appreciate the responses to my question. I knew where to find the dates, but I had a couple of searches that never updated the presentation date from TBA. I am currently sitting on a G5 and not sure if they plan on updating until the presentation. If EN does pass on my idea, I will immediately take steps to develop and manufacture this product with another company or on my own.

We do give the dates, once dates are locked/confirmed the LPS is updated, that hasn’t changed at all.

Once Pep Boys is confirmed it will update, until dates are set in stone we try to avoid shifting dates around.

Alvin: It is listed under your submission. It shows TBA until the presentation date is confirmed.

Does anyone know when they plan on presenting to PepBoys? As an insider, EN use to give the dates when they would present the remaining ideas to the company, now – nothing.

Learned today that 3 caricatures in the PepBoys logo have a name: Manny, Moe, and Jack

My dashboard lights lit up with a G6, little over a week ago. So far she’s a still running, and idling a fine.

Ring-go, that is tough to take all at once, but your attitude is outstanding.

I’m through with a G5, but also lost a long shot at R5 as well. I do think the G5 will make it the presentation, so I feel pretty good about it. The R5 would have been around $125 – $200 retail and it was somewhat novel. It has its place, but Pep Boys is not it.

Sorry about all the other Rs out there and good luck to all the Gs still in.
