Certainly not complaining or the likes, but I am curious as to why some LPS presentations receive
such fanfair, coverage, and updates, and some aren’t even mentioned, even when members are asking
about them? ie: Rawlings, Giggy
I guess Scott spoiled us with past presentation coverage/updates…. the LPS may not be some big name
like Bandai or Nascar or Mattel, but the G7’s are still just as interested in how things are going/went.
The Brica presentation is today for instance… where is it taking place? Who is conducting it? How many
ideas are being presented?

Historically we didn’t do any type of fanfare, coverage or updates on our LPS presentations. Then as the company grew and we started listening to the feedback from our community we acknowledged that our inventors appreciate some measure of communication and acknowledgement around our interactions with our search sponsors – particularly when we go to make presentations. As a result, when one of us has time to come up for air and think about doing something interesting or unique that engages the community and coordinating that with one of our LPS presentations, we do it.
Right now we are going through a phase of running more searches than ever, and while that means lots of good things for us and for the community, it also has us all stretched pretty thin. That unfortunately means we can’t devote as much time or energy into fanfare etc. So it’s not by any means that we don’t love doing it and want to do it – it’s really just a matter of bandwidth and having enough hours in the day to report on a presentation after doing all the other stuff we have to do.
For example, the Brica presentation is taking place right now in our building upstairs from me. I am supposed to be in the presentation, but my 10am meeting ran over and I just got finished, so instead of interrupting the presentation by going in 40 minutes late, I am answering you Frank!
So the bottom line is that there is no rhyme or reason as to which presentations get coverage and which ones don’t. If we can squeeze in a few photos or type up a quick summary we try to do so, but we don’t always get a chance. Our hope is that we can provide more and better coverage of LPS presentation going forward, so please stay tuned and we’ll try to deliver on that.

I think Scott has been great with feedback on all of those….Frank if you ask in the forum in which each search is presented, he usually will answer you within a few days of asking….:)
