If the PetSmart presentation is 8/17 – there are many submissions still on G3. Any idea when we mught see some dashboard movement?

Yep, Becky’s right I predict we’ll have our very on “Sunday, Bloody Sunday” right here on EN for PetSmart…accept of course it’ll probably be a Wednesday around 4:30!

I am assuming inventors dont have to be there for the presentation….

Jeeth, That is correct. Only the team from EN will attend the presentations.

Is there an estimated lag time between presentation dates and when the winners are decided?

Nevermind my question above- I found the answer elsewhere on the website…. It is 45 days.

Kelly, the sponsors have 45 days unless they request an extension, which usually seems to happen. We’re going on close to 90 days waiting for results for WD40 and BB&B Women searches.

And, they can actually take up to six months – according to Marla (in the ’Ladies: BB&B…" forum, I think).

So many searches, not much movement, what about presentation dates for all these searches?

What about the Global? Stuck in G3 forever..lol Walmart and Amazon at G4, it’s a tie :)
There is two weeks left for Walmart according to your post, will it move daily or just go directly to an ! ? lol

Thanks for the updates Marla. I have a question – if my product is a G7 in ASOTV with an unknown presentation date but my product is better suited for the Lifetime Brands BBQ which is being presented on 10/29 and I am a G3 there what happens?

Am I stuck at G3 and can’t be presented to Lifetime until the ASOTV is presented?

If your idea makes it to G7 in the Lifetime search it will be presented to Lifetime unless it is chosen by a ASOTV partner first.

Very cool that the new dashboards have the presentation dates! I hope you keep this thread going, though, so you can give us insight as to how a presentation went – how many people fell over dead because the ideas were too awesome to handle.

Ooops just one more question…the presentation date on the dashboard represents the general presentation date or when my actual date is? If it is the general date then my dashboard still shows TBA for the lifetime brands….problem?

Marla, Any news on the presentation date for ASOTV? I just R8ed on the LB search but am still G7 on ASOTV, can I put my idea in another search while I am G7? Also, I think you said I could still update my picture of prototype….still true at G7?

All presentation dates will now be displayed on your Live Product Search dashboard. Yes you may put your idea in another search while you are G7 on a current search. Also, you may always update your submission. Congratulations on your G7!

The ASOTV search is wide open. I can not offer advice on whether or not to enter your invention, however keep in mind toys are one of the most successful DRTV product categories : )

Mary, yes that is correct, as soon as presentation dates are confirmed they are put into the system and your TBA will be changed to a specific date.

Marla, would it be possible that the Yahoo finalist would have been presented to Amazon (as the search said that they would present to all appropriate companies) in that final group? Since I believe they were also looking for green products, I just thought there may have been a chance?

It would be nice to know for us 8 yahoo finalists to know what is going on over the last 6 months. THANKS!

I checked in with our review team and yes a few of the Yahoo finalists were presented to Amazon- and there was interest in some of them. We will hopefully hear from Amazon and have more information for those inventors before the end of this week.

Sorry if this has been answered but are only g7 ideas presented to the sponsering companies? and what if your idea is not at g7 after the presentation date and something elsewhere comes up that you might want to pursue? can we or can we find out the status befor making that decision?
