Robert : That’s a good one ! but in this case the inventor is the only one that knows how to build it , and everyone else wants to use it ! i’ve had the power tool on the job sites many times, all the guys wanted to cut the material and not install it, and before everyone wanted to install and not cut ? guess why ? because it was easier ! thanks for the the shot of confidence ! i’ll keep posting if anything new comes up, and i don’t think there has been an update yet for the Rexon tool search so there should be around of red X ’s heading are way in the very near future ! Just wanted to bump this one up , still G-7 for Skil and Rexon for the same power tool entry, i just wanted to bring something up that Robert Pontius mentioned in the Irwin thread about his 4 R-8’s i agree if the lps sponsor needs a demonstration or more info so be it, i agree you can’t understand the full potential of the tool unless you use it in a real world setting ? i have a really good video with my entry , but that still doesn’t compare to grabbing the power tool and cutting something with it, thats when you understand what it can really do ! so i’ll go ahead and throw it out there any of the sponsors need a demo i’ll come free of charge anywhere need be. Good luck to all that are still in the Skil search and the Rexon search. TJM.

Hey Tim – I’m not in Skil nor Rexon but it’s been nearly 6 months at G7 for me in the Irwin Tools search. I’d say the best strategy is to go on with the rest of your life and let EN and the sponsor do their thing. Otherwise you’ll go insane. |

I don’t think there are to many still alive in this one ? i have this G-7 entered in the Rexon search and the presentation is in a week so maybe somebody will like it ? it is a great tool, but it might be to big of an idea or just so different ? and it is a 300 to 500 dollar item that sounds like alot but when it comes to a very safe and time saving tool thats nothing, our company has spent 5,000 dollars on a very special hand tool that isn’t used all the time ! you know the old saying “gotta have the right tool for the right job” TJM.

Still G7… This is about the time that I have to move on to my next invention or the anxiety keeps me up all night ;-) I am actually doimg just that and trying to get prototypes together in case I get invited to Charlotte this summer. Besides that I am recovering from this stomach virus, ruled out food poisoning. It feels like that Punch-in-the-gut-cant-hardly-breath feeling after racking the manhood. I have a feeling others are on to new projects too. What else are you working on? |

Tim the coffee sounds good to me right about now refill please! I am on a limited budget I try to enter when I can! I have been doing this wannabe inventor stuff for three years or so it’s never easy! I need to invest in Donkin Donuts thats were my calling maybe I drink so much of it! Thanks Betsy! I never got a chance to congratulate you on your eggies success! Great job! Honestly I admire you for your positive determination and outlook on life! I enjoy the creativity of coming up with ideas, but it is hard to determine were you should actually focus your energy without any type of feedback! I had to learn 3-D in order to convey my ideas from the written word to a drawing that can demonstrate my ideas! I am currently on a comeback trail with some more ideas! I am not much of a forum person to begin with! I remember the heated debates going on here awhile ago and life has so much to offer instead of reading these arguments! I will basically scan through the forums and occasionally post in this forum. Jerry |

Tim this is great news I received my R8 earlier this week! What"s funny this reminds me of gambling which I do not participate in! I work to hard for the money! Their should be some form of compensation from the government during tax time for spending this type of money! Or I would settle for rehabilation for addictions beyond my control to decrease my coffee intake! Jerry |

Pete - nothing came to fruition for the community in that first search. We spoke about the first one, there was one individual who had been involved in first search on their team. They felt better about this one. Good thing is they are part of Bosch, so there were about 4 items they kept on board that they wanted to show their Bosch team members (better fit), and even one item they kept that they felt could be good under Dremel brand they do as well. That’s the good part of those, kind of like you get 2 showings for the price of one !!! Scott |
