Help in getting Product Manufactured

I’m new at this. I have a product that I make by myself. I believe that it is a great product. People loves it. They are always telling me that I need to get it into stores. How would I go about getting a company to manufacture my product and getting it into stores? I don’t have a lot of money. Is there a way that I can still get it done? I’ve been searching for a long time. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks and good luck to you all.

I have been trying to get my product to market for a while, you need to be- cut out for it, lucky, made of iron, rich, thick skinned, all of these or any one of these would help
Myself personally find it extremely difficult.

and my product is far better than what they have got, but that is not the point it seems.
You will soon find out yourself, if you try.
But because good luck, people do succeed

Tiffany, You can get a great education here on the forums: I suggest that you pick applicable words and put them in the ‘search’ box in the right hand corner of any forum. For example, try typing in ‘manufacturing’ and see what comes up. Look up ‘licensing’ and NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreement) which you will need if you don’t have a patent. Good luck…

Just reread my last post up there again, what i meant to say was

‘good luck in your efforts, because some people do succeed’

tiffany, there are many ways you can go about this. If you want your product manufactured you could use mfg.com, if you are looking for licensing you may want to try companies who manufacture similar products. You may want to look locally and see if there are programs which would help you to market and perhaps increase manufacturing capability as well. the small business development center would be a good place to start. if it is relatively simple and low cost to make then that part of it would be easy, you may want to try selling it on ebay and see if they sell that way, it might give you and idea of market potential, though by no means limited to that it would help you to get started. You can email me with more specific information perhaps I can help you find ways to go about getting to market. I can add you as a friend then you can send me an email. I would be happy to sign an NDA if you like.
