Hi – New to Edison Nation and to being an inventor. Our product has a patent pending and we’ve been looking for a venue to learn. How worthwhile ia the entire show. We are working with limited funds right now and need to spend it in the right places!!! Can you tell me if just going to it and walking around and talking to everyone would give us anything or should we sign up for the whole thing? thank you! Karen from Just Be More Kozy |

Lindsey sounds like a promoter for this show. Sounds interesting enough and a valuable way to get exposure. Daymond John got FUBU started at a fashion show like this in Las Vegas, “MAGIC”. Lindsey,

Lindsey – just to check – are you affiliated with the people running this show? (I assume so but am not sure) |

There is a new offering for those that can’t be there the day of show, or if someone simply has a patent that they are looking to license (no prototypes necessary). Click the IP button on the left on the website to find the link for the new inventors package. Really good rate. |

Pre-registration is encouraged for walk-throughs. If you are planning on exhibiting or attending the conference, then you definitely need to pre-register for tickets. Hope to see you there! for the links to register go to mfgtradeshow . com |

Sounds like a good deal. Do I need to buy advanced tickets or just show up in Cleveland and buy them at the show? |

If you have any type of patent protection or a provisional, I’d recommend to exhibit. Or, you can call to send your product to put on display and they will help man the product for you. If you don’t have any type of protection, definitely walk the show because there are inventor clinics all day to go over basics and detailed questions you’ll face during development. Such topics about the new America Invents Act will be covered, trademarks, types of patents, etc. Either way, it is a great opportunity to get your product in the eyes of manufacturers or buyers who can help get your product to the next stage. Such buyers include industrial, medical, cleaning, kitchen and automotive accessory distributors. Manufacturers of all types of competencies such as rotational molding, packaging (POP, labels, shipping, retail), machining, waterjet cutting, extrusion, injection molding, etc. Hedstrom Plastics is exhibiting, they are the ones that make those BOSU balls used for exercise. It’s like product development under one roof. There are marketing professionals you can rent, NASA engineers to answer tough questions, industrial design companies, patent attorneys and logistics companies. |

Sorry for the newbie question here but is this show more of people that are looking to get their idea manufactured to take to the market? Or is it for people with inventions and a prototype to show off? |
