Hi,Margaret.I was looking at internett marketing a couple of days ago,and I was reading about adwords and spy software to identify key words that different businesses were using.Apparently refining keywords is important[my brain is just about to give up]and other stuff.

But what interested me was that if you punch in your search word, this is probably really basic, you’re told in your search results, how many relevant sites there are, which is an indication of the demand for your search word[s].

So I was thinking, say your invention/product idea is a brush, then by using that as a search word, the number of results would give you an idea of demand/interest.
If there was a daily record of the use of those search words,it would be a useful market research tool.Maybe this is old hat.
So I was interested to see your post, and the site. Thanks

Adam, my daughter has a search engine optimization business. They are constantly researching key words for businesses. When I was thinking about selling my communion dispenser they we able to tell me how much search interest there was for my product. You are on the right track.
