Welcome back Chris. I know the down feelings and also the Edison Family boost too. I’m hyped right now because I’m riding my first G7, but also know that I too can be feeling the sting of the dreaded R8. But I wouldn’t go as far as to say that I was sending my Love (8>p), as you were saying earlier, that people were giving you. Hang in there and may you have some sucess.

When I read the topic title, I had the beginning of Aerosmith’s Back in the Saddle Again pop in my head :)

wow, when I posted this I really was hoping to just share my experience/frustrations in hopes of helping others in the same situation. I didn’t expect all the LOVE I would get from the EN community………….although I should have. Thanks everyone! This is a great family to be a part of.

Welcome back Chris! I just came off a slump myself. Until this month, I hadn’t submitted a new idea for quite some time. Then all of a sudden I’m an idea factory again. I think we need to let our brains rest sometimes so we can get a fresh perspective. Glad to see you back.

Having recently received my first ever G7 in PepBoysLPS, I also got the opportunity to reflect on my first ever R8… it certainly saps one’s confidence. I’m still too new at all this… so I’m hoping that both my ideas and perspective on the process only improve with time.

Welcome back Chris! I became like what you wrote about above as well – when I saw two of my submission ideas on another invention site (It upset me). Then I realized, there’s just some ideas that are going to get out there that will be like or similar to your own and some things are just out of your hands. I took a deep breath and realized so many great ideas are still to come.

So, anyway, welcome back Chris and I know you and all of us here can do it! :)

Hi Chris I entered Brica as my first submissions here at EN and got the glaring R4’s…3 of them. First R’s are scary. Had to archive them immediately and along with it those Brica ideas I felt strongly about. Took a minute and have moved on with new ideas to new searches. Its nice to have you back. Some achieve success right away, like Betsy….and others take a while….like Jared. We have to keep the faith….and in time achieve success. Best of luck!!!!!
