just depends on your financial ability as well as just how much you are going to submit…. for me… i am taking a break… sooooo i took myself out of the insider…. cuz i am not going to be submitting right now….. however if you are going to be submitting quite a bit… .it is a good deal….

lots of luck to all…. :))))

Hi Nancy,

I’ve been a member for less than a month now and I upgraded to insider yesterday. I have one submission and several others I am working toward submitting, so when I did the math it made sense as far as money savings goes.

Nancy Welcome to EN …. You will find multiple benefits to being in the Insider program, t’s a great option to have. Personally I have saved money and it’s brought so much more opportunity. Good Luck on your journey and I will look forward to hearing about your progress here on the Forum !!

The opt-in is a HUGE benefit of the membership… saving money on the initial buy is big. When the innovation fund is going you save $90. So, as a member, you create an idea and submit it into say, Mattel. Save $5 on the submission then skymall opens an LPS and NASCAR come open too save $75 plus the original 5 and on one idea you just saved 9 months worth of membership fees.

Now if you have multiple ideas that fit into multiple categories the savings is exponential. I only submit one or two ideas into a search, right now I have 9 products working in various searches. If they don’t get selected for a search, I don’t worry. Just tweak and opt in like Frank. He had an R4 that he tweaked and opted into another search and now has a G7. As a non member that G7 would have cost him $50 as a member cost $20.

It just makes sense if you are going to stick wit it.

Nancy, if you’re going to submit things into lots of searches…then the Insider program is really beneficial. You can pay 20 dollars and submit your product/idea into one search and then opt the same submission into other searches for free. But, if you’re only going to submit occasionally then maybe not. I wasn’t an Insider for my first 6 months here. But now I am and I love it! It’s fun getting Inventor’s Digest in the mail too. Plus, earning points for free submissions is great. Anyway, welcome to EN!
