Hello fellow inventors!
I was wondering if anyone has had any success with using a “broker” to try and license your inventions? Reading some “Google” results make it seem risky, if not a straight out scam.
Any one out there had any personal experience they’d care to share?
Thanks for your time ~

I always say, “Due Diligence!” When you are going to put that much trust into a person or company do the background work on them first. There are a few things you can do yourself for free, or for very low cost. Good place to start is here: Another place to go to that is free: www.bbb.org/ Then do a search across several different search engines for scams related to the person/company you are searching. Of course don’t believe everything you read, but if a pattern appears there could be a problem. If you need help with this friend me and contact me. I own and run a background screening company, but I give lots of advice and info away for free. I promise there will be no sales pitch, only member to member help and advice. |

I was looking to hire one, but everyone wanted to be paid upfront, so how hard will they work if you pay them upfront and if they really do get you a licensing deal you have to give them a percentage. I would not use them……. |

There have been some discussions on this. See link below. Also the search button top right can lead you to more of them. Welcome Charly, and good luck to you. |
