Anyone going to the Housewares Show in Chicago? I am looking forward to going to this one. I will get to meet the company producing my newest kitchen product scheduled for release in June. I have been working with them over the phone and via email, so it will be great to meet them face to face for the first time.

We will have 60 inventor booths at the Housewares show this year along with 3 days of FREE inventor education programs and product review panels. One panel will be a QVC buyer panel selecting products for a new QVC Inventor Program.
Ron Popeil will be there at 3 pm on Sunday afternoon to answer questions about inventing and the journey he took to success. If you are a UIA member (and it’s free to be a UIA member) and have issues getting a badge, let us know and we’ll make sure you get in.

A friend of mine has a pocket fisherman he considers it to be an essential part of his hiking gear. I thought it was weird at first until he showed me the pictures of what you can catch when you actually go to where the fish are. Why do I get the feeling there’s another lesson in there?

Sure. I am always happy to meet fellow Inventors. Also, I want to met Ron Popeil. He will be at the show. I have to admit I bought one of his rotisserie ovens. It actually does as advertized and I have had it for 7 years now and use it fairly often. My Dad bought one of the Pocket Fisherman units and it worked great. : )

I was thinking about going to the convention so I could see emerging trends and with enough research and alittle luck predicting where certain segments of the market might be heading.
