My trust and excitement with EN, the company, grows with each passing week… but the group of people here in the EN community is reason enough to hang around!

I arrived here knowing so very little about the process of product licensing… the importance of IP protection… and the perks and pitfalls of bringing an idea to market. It was the community’s contributions that made me take more seriously exactly what it means to be an inventor.

I recently commented to a good friend here in the community how there are two professions that are explicitly mentioned in the Articles of the U.S. Constitution… Authors and Inventors. “To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;” [Article I, Section 8, Clause 8]

There’s a level of seriousness, respect, and helpfulness here for Inventors that I have yet to find anywhere else.
…and I’m always inspired by success stories, like Betsy’s… and find much comfort and encouragement from experiences of so many others here.

Scooter, I agree, well said! I’ve learned so much here and have met so many life long friends—many, I’ve met in person and some I know I will meet soon. But even those I will never meet enhance my life and expand my knowledge, or just make me laugh! Scooter, thanks for starting this topic!
