Anthony, Thanks for sharing…

but, yeah…kink of reminds me of the “Baby On Board” signs that you would see hanging in cars…as if to influence my decision as to whether or not I should run into them.
Why wouldn’t we want our technology to incorporate humanitarian qualities? Seems a little politically motivated…I suppose it’s a nice gesture all the same…

Well put Greg…I agree. Further, why protect with patents, why not allow its free use…like open source?

Anthony, nothing personal and I understand the warm feeling this kind of promotion creates but personally it bothers me that the government is segregating out another hyphenated group as “a winner” in it’s unrelenting bumbling in the private sector’s control of our free market capitalism.
I can’t think of an example where a technology was suppressed in order to not benefit humanity. On the contrary, benefiting humanity is the most profitable feature of any invention.
Again, I’m not criticizing you here. Your contributions here are always interesting and friendly. This is just a thought on the subject. Maybe I’m taking it too seriously (I have a habit of that) but it just doesn’t sit well with me on the surface.
Good subject.
