Paul,

Send me an email. I am located in the mid-west, and I have a few good sources for creating cast urethane parts from RTV silicone molds.

Hi Paul,

If you are looking to make a prototype check with a local jewelry store that does lost wax casting. Years ago I used to make silicon rubber molds all the time when I had my jewelry business. I had a client that wanted small funnel shaped rubber cups made for a prototype contact lens removal machine he was making. I was able to make the cups for him out of silicon rubber using a vulcanizer for making rubber molds. If the part is complicated you might have to have a mold CNC machined out of aluminum. You might be able to make a temporary short run mold yourself out of epoxy and graphite powder mix. Never tried it but it sounds possible. Good luck.
