Hi folks,

I’m looking for a material for a prototype. Properties needed:

-pliable like play-doh or bread dough, so it can be kneaded
-never dries out (or at least not for a few weeks)
-non-toxic
-stays as one mass (chunks won’t easily break off)
-ideally, as transparent as clear glass
-not unpleasant to touch – not slimy
-can be obtained in hand-ful quantities

Anyone know of such a blob-like substance? Thanks!

Lindax2,

This it not quite what your looking for because it cures in 2-4 hours. But, I thought it would be worth looking at to see if it’ll work.

Maybe just omit the hardening agent…

Hey, thanks, Colonel! Transparent clay wouldn’t work for the final product – but maybe it will work for the prototype. I could make a video before it hardened.

Clear clay – whoever dreamed that up? (;^)
