Hat’s off to Betsy and the EN design team. I was just at Walmart earlier today (4/30) and I was perusing the ASOTV products. A lady walked up next to me and picked up several ASOTV products. One by one, she picked up each product studied the packaging and returned them to the shelf. She eventually picked up a box of EGGIES and did the same thing, except she didn’t put it back. I stood there pretending shop, but what I was really doing was watching to see if she would put the EGGIES back. She continued to look at various other products and then looked at me and said “isn’t it fun shopping for these types of products” then she left with EGGIES in hand. I believe the effective packaging strategy and a compelling and intriguing product was what influenced her buying decision. The box of EGGIES was the only thing she left with. It’s fun to actually see in person what people decide to buy and what appears to influence their decision. Well, there goes another box of EGGIES off to a happy home. Congrats again and I wish you much continued success!

In this case, we developed the concept but the original inventors of the Gyro Bowl will still be paid just as if they had created this new concept.

As I am going through some of the older posts I saw this one from Matt, “We’ve got some other Gyro Bowl products in the hopper… I can’t wait to share them with you guys!” How does that work when you are talking additional products? Do you come up with these ideas or does the original inventor? Thank you in advance for responses.

We got the pix into the computer but they don’t do the display justice. Really lousy, even my son’s view. I need to re-take them. I’ll be in there again on Tuesday, probably, so I’ll just pack my camera!!

Okay Jane, if you’re in the store again, ask the manager to take a pic of it on his/her iPhone. (I bet they have one) Then, in a blink of an eye, (or iPhone, ha, ha) they can email the pic to you. Then you can forward it to me!!! I’m sure someone at that store has a phone that can do that really easily. If not, I’ll just have to come to Ohio! :-D
